We loved staying at the casita! The house is so clean and smelled amazing. The kitchen and bathroom was equipped/well stocked with everything we needed. Jerry was quick to respond to my messages and extremely helpful. We hope to come back!

I brought my fiancé out here for his birthday weekend as a surprise. It ended up being just as much of a surprise for me! I fell head over heels with the views. And the hammock. And THE. BED. I took pictures of the bed tags they were quite generous supplying you with such a luxurious experience. Needless to say, the relaxation didn't stop at the dock! I cant wait to bring my sisters back who actually love to fish and crab. I just like to enjoy the nature :) thank you for having us!!

Lovely property! The experience was just as described in listing. The only downside was the weather. The fishing was good, we did manage to catch a few but released them because of their size. Jerry is a great host and was quick to respond to my questions. Thanks for allowing us to spend 10 days in your Casa, it was a memorable experience and a great way to finish out 2024!

Perfectly adorable cabin on the water that is just the right size for a couple! Cute, clean and comfy! We loved our quiet weekend away! No real luck fishing, but still had a very enjoyable time! Highly recommend if you want a quiet place with gorgeous sunrises. Bonus: Kemah is just a short drive away!!

This place was a very clean and nice like get away spot. Loved the dock area setup. And just the overall experience of the location being not to far from restaurants or shopping. This was a very good spot to fish as well. Would love for the next go around to take the kids out here because I know they would enjoy it as well. The property owner was very responsive whenever I had a question or with recommendations. Amazing overall experience

I was impressed with the property, it's all it says it is. There is a great pier for fishing, the house is clean and smells good, and there is ample room for unwinding. I think what I like most though, is the privacy. The property is tucked in between two open lots and it's right on the water, the property owners are very helpful. I will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time at this place. We fished, caught crabs, and saw many birds which were quite interesting. The bed was very comfortable. My host was very quick to answer a message I sent him regarding our arrival being a little late. I would recommend this place to someone that wanted a quiet get-a-way.

The House is very clean and perfect for a small family. The nice restaurants aren't too far from the house. We had a great time crabbing and fishing. My kid enjoyed seeing the popper fishes. He has already made plans to come back again. :-) Thanks for sharing the place.

The property had everything we needed, from a firepit, to a gas grill, to a regular grill, and a Keurig for coffee. The place was very clean and comfortable. I think the bed was a tempur-pedic mattress. It was very nice that this place is on the water with a pier in the back.

This property is exceptional. My husband, our daughter, and I throughly enjoyed. The bed is extremely comfortable and the quietness of the neighborhood was a relief from the city noise. My husband fished from the dock. Allie and I enjoyed the comforts of the home and loved sitting on the porch during sunrise and sunset. Jerry has everything stocked. There were even condiments in the fridge, great coffee for the Kuerig, and everything you could need in the kitchen. The outside lights are adorable and perfect for evening. Thank you Jerry and Jennifer for having such a nice home to stay in on VRBO.

We enjoyed our time there, with a few small difficulties. Will cover those later. The house interior was clean and spacey enough. Great spot for fishing, but didnt catch many. We enjoyed trying, tho. Quiet -Not many neighbors. As for difficulties- there is no local TV news or channels, only streaming. There should be other choices as well. We have been to the area before with regular TV - Houston channels were available. No soap or shampoo was available, tho advertised. Had to find a dollar store for those. And it is strange that we are asked to clean the place when we are charged a substantial cleaning fee. Sorry to complain, but you asked for a review.

My husband and I stayed here for 7 days and had a very relaxing stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! We loved how quiet the area was and how close it was to Galveston area. Check in and check out was very easy! We definitely recommend this home to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat!

The place was clean, well-stocked kitchen, and had plenty of room for my family. Bed and futon couch were very comfy. Water machine in fridge was a plus-it tasted great. We loved spending the mornings and evenings on the private pier fishing with our kids. We caught several species. There are local beaches we visited. We made the short drive to Galveston for part of a day. Spent a lot of time on the large, open porch as well. The strand lighting and clean, open yard made it feel so whimsical in the evening hours. My husband kayaked and fished. It was just an overall great place to stay. We would love to revisit in the future.
