Funchal Center Apartment II

Beautiful apartment and exceptional hosts in Lucy and Alexandra,they were so accommodating. We will certainly be returning here next year.

Nothing to dislike at already

Great location — everything is just a few steps away from the apartment. The apartment is quite spacious and has two air-conditioning units: one in the living room and one in the main bedroom. Good Wi-Fi and a nice view of the marina. Amazing hospitality from the hosts. We really felt well looked after throughout our stay.

The bathroom could be improved. The door is transparent, and we experienced some water leaking from the shower, as well as a high level of humidity. It was very noisy outside. The windows are only a few metres from one of the main roads near Funchal Marina, so we could hear cars and people partying throughout the night. Parking costs €20 per started day, which means that for a one-night stay, the total cost can be €40. This is quite expensive compared with the cost of renting a car. On the positive side, the parking garage is secure and located only about a five-minute walk from the apartment.

Great communication, we were a little worried about arriving late at night and doing the check-in but we were hand-held basically :) Location is superb and the view to the harbour from the two big windows was better than it looked on booking!
