Enjoy spectacular sunsets in this recently renovated guest house located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Guest house is attached to the owner’s home, but has a separate entrance and driveway with ample parking. Owners are available for questions or assistance if needed. We will provide free laundry service for guests staying over1 week.
Accommodation includes a Kuerig coffee station with everything you need for that perfect sunrise cup. An induction cooktop, convection oven,full size refrigerator and dishwasher are included. There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking Enjoy outdoor dining in the three season room or on the sunny patio.

Impeccably clean, great location (especially if you enjoy the outdoors), super cute and very comfortable. Grateful to have found this place for our annual trip to the mountains!

This 2 bedroom apartment has comfortable beds and furniture, which are clean and well kept. The apartment is well decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and had all the privacy we needed. The hosts communicated with us well (internet went down in the area for a few hours, otherwise no issues during our stay). The apartment is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway (10 minute drive), which we visited each day of our stay and enjoyed the fall foliage and spectacular mountain views. Thanks Bill and Kathy for hosting this wonderful apartment! I highly recommend it.

It was an attached apartment with two full bedrooms and a kitchen. Well decorated and stocked with plenty of linens and pillows. Nice spacious bathroom. Had homey touches like board games, a coffee bar, and a plate of cookies. The patio was perfect for reading. Owners quick to answer messages and very helpful with info about the local area. Great stay!

We had a terrific stay! The location is close to dozens of water views and hikes and we’ll take advantage of more of them next time. On the way down from DC we hit Staunton for lunch at the Bistro, then toured the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library before heading to Buchanan. The next day we headed back toward Lexington and toured the amazing Natural Bridge and had dinner at Southern Inn. Then on the way home to DC, we ventured over to Crabtree Falls (highest waterfall east of the Mississippi) for the hike then had barbeque in Charlottesville on the way back up as we headed home. Next time we will definitely enjoy kayaking on the river by Buchanan, try to hit the antique store and go on more local hikes. The place was perfect: the living room was cozy and lovely, kitchen had everything we needed and even a complimentary bottle of wine and cookies left by the owner, and the screened porch was fun to hang out on. The owners’ lab Roscoe wandered over and made us feel right at home. We weren't sure about the closest dining at Foot of the Hill restaurant but they have a big menu, great prices and a very nice patio. We plan to hit Witt’s next visit and many other places we never got to!
