Welcome to our newly renovated East Beach Retreat featuring a total of 6 bedrooms with a private courtyard pool. Great location approximately 100 feet from the 7th Street beach access at East Beach, making this the perfect big home for your family vacation in a true Beach Cottage restored, but with the original charm. This is 2 houses sharing a private courtyard pool.

MAIN HOUSE
* Bedroom 1: King Bed, ensuite bathroom with combo tub shower, make up nook, and single sink.
* Bedroom 2: Queen bed & Bunk Bed, shared bath
* Bedroom 3: Queen bed, shared bath
* Additional full bath
ONSITE GUEST HOUSE:
* Primary bedroom: king bed, smart TV and ensuite bath with combo tub shower.
* Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, shared bath
* Bedroom 3: 3-Single Beds and ensuite bath with combo tub shower.
* Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bath and doorway - access to the shared bath is through Bedroom 3.
* Washer and dryer is located on porch outside the kitchen.
Main house also has:
* Covered front porch with seating and dining options
* Family room with 56" smart TV
* Dining room with seating for 6
* Well-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, Keurig-combo coffee maker
* Separate sitting/TV room overlooking the pool
Guest house also has:
* Its own family, dining, and kitchen area
* Second porch with additional washer, dryer, and outdoor refrigerator
Outdoors features poolside dining, gas grill, lounge seating, and stairs up to and rooftop deck.
Center Courtyard includes:
16 X 32 gunite pool
Parking:
1 space in the front of the home
1 large car can park on the side
3-4 cars in the back alley by the Guest House. No street parking please
Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.
Pets: This home is dog friendly with $200 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

Great property, suited our family well(ages from 7 mo to 90 years). Mosquitoes were out in full force, but nothing to be done about that. Pool was great, as was the 2 houses. Families with the kids were separated from the ones without.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and great location. The bathtubs do all need nonslip strips as we had two ladies slip in the tubs. It would also help people to understand that you must walk through one bedroom to get to another in the guest house. Not as critical when housing families with children but certain awkward with couples.
