La Piazzetta Boutique Apartments

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment and would definitely recommend it. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Sergio was an excellent host—very kind, responsive, and always willing to help with any questions we had. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome items he provided for breakfast. It was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome.

One thing to keep in mind is that the mobile phone signal in the area is quite limited, but this wasn’t a problem because the apartment has very strong and reliable Wi-Fi. The only downside was the transportation, which is obviously not the host’s fault. The local buses were very unreliable. Sometimes they arrived much later than scheduled, and other times they didn’t come at all, making it difficult to plan our day. Also, if you’re thinking of walking to Amalfi, be prepared for a real workout! There are around 1,000 steps between the apartment and Amalfi, so while the walk is beautiful, it can be quite challenging, especially on the way back uphill.

Appartement was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden ontvangen en kregen een rondleiding door het appartement. De host had water en wat kleinigheden geregeld voor het ontbijt. Dit werd door ons erg gewaardeerd nu we vrij laat aankwamen.

Niets! We waren van tevoren ingelicht over de trappen die je moet nemen als je naar Amalfi loopt. Dit is een keuze, je kan ook heel makkelijk de bus nemen.

Erg schoon ruim appartement, eigenaar stuurde van te voren netjes een bericht met info waar te parkeren. We werden ontvangen door de broer van de eigenaar die ons duidelijk en uitgebreid uitleg gaf over het appartement en de omgeving. Het appartement heeft fijne bedden, smart tv, vaatwasser en wasmachine en droger! Het appartement bevindt zich enkele minuten lopen naar bushalte, daar kan je de bus pakken naar Amalfi stad. Deze bus was bij ons nooit super druk en niet warm. Tickets voor de bus kun je gemakkelijk online kopen (1,50 euro per rit) met een app. Het appartement zit naast een klein supermarktje en er zitten restaurantjes in de buurt! Het appartement ligt in Pontone, dat is wel echt even lekker tot rust komen na een drukke dag Amalfi stad!

Naar boven lopen vanuit Amalfi is mogelijk maar het is echt 35 min traplopen… De bus rijdt niet vaak naar boven/beneden.
