Gîte Les Murmures du Ventoux

Het huis was ruim voldoende voor 8 man. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de lounge bij het zwembad op de Mont Ventoux, en 's nachts kon je heerlijk genieten van de sterrenrijke hemel. Een prima plaats om tot rust te komen. Alhoewel Mormoiron zelf zeer klein is, kan je in Café du klos heerlijk genieten van een frisse pint. Ook heeft het klein supermarktje alles wat men op den bots zou nodig hebben. En er zijn verschillende leuke dorpen op kleine afstand bereikbaar met de auto/fiets. Er zijn ook verschillende plaatsen waar men kan gaan eten, ik denk dan onder andere aan La Bergerie Du Ventoux - op 20min wandelen van het huis. De communicatie met de host en de conciërge verliep zeer vlot.

In de achtertuin bij het zwembad is de schaduw beperkt. Een parasol had wel fijn kunnen zijn, gezien het zoals geweten in het zuiden, zeer warm kan zijn in de vlakke zon. Het huis beschikt niet over airco, de eerste uren van de nacht waren hierdoor wat lastig maar niet ondragelijk. Het interieur is ook wat gedateerd, maar dit vormde geen praktische problemen.

Very nice, very spacious property, plenty of everything you need in the kitchen, games for the pool and outside. Abundance of places to eat outside, front and back. Very cool inside despite the heat. Person who meets you is very welcoming. Pool is lovely and great views. Village is small but still has restaurants and cafe. Stayed as a cyclist, plenty of bike storage which is secure and very handy Pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers chairs and shaded area too

Internet wasn’t the best, dropped out a lot and was weak in some rooms but probably to be expected in a small village

The house was large rustic and really well equipped for a large group holiday home - situated in a lovely village with a wonderful bakery as well as a local store and a pizzeria as well as a more fancy restaurant all within walking distance There was plenty of space inside the house - a great table for dining or.games - as well as a pool table which our teens loved. The outdoor space is also perfect with a swimming pool and loungers / seating area - as well as inflatables, boules, molky etc. And the other outdoor eating area was great too. There is parking and a garage for bikes for those who are staying to cycle in the region.

There was no air con or fans - this wasn’t an issue as the house is stone and with shutters to keep it cool and the temperatures weren’t too extreme for the week we were there.
