About this cottage rental
Tucked in a quiet wooded neighborhood, you will feel like you entered paradise as you drive through rolling sand dunes and the private man-made lakes on either side of the road. Lake Michigan views abound as well as endless fun walking the shores and splashing in the waves. The beach is accessible via newly built stairs directly in front of the home.

INSIDE
The cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and a separate guest room with a queen bed. 1 full bath and additional 1/2 bath are accessible to both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked and open to the living area which features double sliders to the spacious deck and deck.
OUTSIDE
The deck is the perfect place to end your night with dinner on the grill watching the sunset over the lake.
*Please note that Lake Michigan water levels are ever-changing; beach size can vary from day to day.
PARKING
There is a gravel parking area along the street and in front of the house that will fit 3-4 cars.
SLEEPING
This home sleeps 6. All bed linens and bath linens are provided.

Located in Norton Shores, less than 5 miles from downtown Muskegon—the new and upcoming downtown area with plenty of bar and restaurant options, you will not be at a loss for fun! Pere Marquette Beach and Lighthouse are nearby with a beautiful boardwalk and area parks. A short drive north brings you to Northern Michigan destinations like Silver Lake, Pentwater, and Ludington. A 10-mile drive south you will find highly acclaimed Grand Haven, a fun beach community with shopping, restaurants, splash pads, marinas, and a beautiful boardwalk to the Grand Haven Pier. There is no shortage of beauty and things to do here!

- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 30 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 14 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation start date.
There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.
MANAGEMENT
This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide all professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels as well as a starter supply of paper and cleaning products and emergency maintenance services.
Check-in is a breeze; drive straight to your rental and let yourself in with a unique lock code. We'll send you all the information you need including directions, access code, and instructions so you'll be ready to rest, relax and rejuvenate!
All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy.

There are both stairs (at a neighboring property) and a trail down to the beach, both less than 5 minutes from the house to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach felt semi-private. Home was beautiful and clean. Stairs were nice and new to get down to the beach but extremely steep. There was no beach accessories although the home was well stocked with necessities. Down side was check in and check out times. Check in time is at4 which is quite late in the day and check out is 10 am which is super early and non negotiable. I feel for the price and if I’m paying for an entire day (check in) that should be earlier or given more time at check out.

We were disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. Glass sliding doors, for instance had some kind of cleaner streaking on it and it made it almost impossible to see out. There was small pieces of miscellaneous trash here and there. Just didn’t feel clean. Also, you should make sure prospective renters know that there is quite a climb down and back up a large dune if you want to get to the beach. Somewhat difficult for older adults. The Unsalted Vacations team were very communicative and we appreciated that!
