Studio Pool/Mountainview 45m2 Condo

I spent three months at Erik’s condo and loved it. It is exactly as advertised, the room is roomy, features a great air conditioner with a turbo setting for quickly cooling a room and a whisper setting for sleeping. Every morning I enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony watching the pigeons drink from the swimming pool. The water in the pool is pristine and just a few degrees cooler than the air so refreshing but not shocking. The unit is very quiet, located on a hillside in an area that is about 85 % Thai and 15 % tourists. When you walk down the laneway to the main road and turn right and cross the road you will come to a black and white massage parlor, for 8 dollars Canadian you get a very good, one hour massage, half the cost of one on the beach, so it is customary to tip the ladies 100 Baht. Keep going along the same side of the road and in 10 minutes you will come to Steak Tonight, not fine dining but an interesting experience, come early as it gets crowded. Continue on for another 5 or 6 minutes and you will get to the best coffee shop in Patong, Baan Café, a world class latte will cost you 50 Baht or about 2 bucks Cad. There are Thai restaurant and bars scattered about and street vendors selling barbecue skewers 10 Baht each, 40 cents Cad. If you turn to your left at the main road it leads to the beach. OK thats all they let me say. Only negative a bit of climb to the unit from the main road. Otherwise great.
