Ken Blacklock

Spacious well equipped Apartment with a lovely view and great pool. Ken met us at the apartment and gave us all the information and some restaurant recommendations. Lovely linen and towels and air con throughout. The balcony was private relaxing. Sunny in the morning, shady in the afternoon. The area: Restaurants all within walking distance. Mainly fish. Not many bars. The town Beach is lovely - about 15mins walk. Theres also a ferry to the Island beach. Very handy for the train line - just a 7minute walk and you can get to several other towns within 20mins. Faro airport is dead easy to get from and to. You don't need a car but if you do have one there is a secure underground carpark.

As others have said, the area to the rear of the apartments is a bit rough and tatty but don’t let that put you off. We never felt unsafe and you can use the entrance to the front which is a meandering path through the gardens past the pool instead..

The view from the balcony was outstanding. We enjoyed watching the birds. It was so lovely and peaceful and quiet. The property was bright and airy and very clean. The beds were so comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful and met us on arrival. We would definitely visit again

Perfect location, easy walk into the town.

Air conditioning a little noisy.

The apartment was lovely its well equipped. its very central to train supermarket restaurants and beach and had beautiful views and walks nearby of ria formosa and wildlife.

bed was too hard and pillows had no support. very little sun in the balcony.
