Shops (bakery, grocery store, press, tobacco etc ...) 5 minutes walk away and supermarkets in the surrounding villages 15 minutes by car.
Housing.
This fully air-conditioned single-storey holiday home has provided for everything:
-- A living room composed of a kitchen area and a lounge area with direct access to a terrace with arbour, dining table and gas barbecue. The lounge area benefits from a large screen TV.
- Sleeping areas: 3 bedrooms with 160 cm bed and cupboards. 1 bathroom with double sink, walk-in shower and a toilet. But also a 2nd separate toilet. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.
- The enclosed garden with its private swimming pool and wooden terrace under the olive trees is conducive to relaxation or a nap on one of the sunbeds under the olive trees next to the pool.
The house is equipped with WIFI. We also provide you with a cot and a high chair.
Everything is planned to make your stay an exceptional moment without constraints: no need to clutter your suitcases with household linen, towels and beds made on your arrival, everything is included in the price of your rental. A deposit of €500 payable by cheque or in cash will be requested upon entry and returned on departure after the inventory of fixtures.
Sugar, spices and condiments, oil and vinegar, sponges, dish towels, are provided.
Forget the chore of cleaning when leaving the villa, we take care of the maintenance of the house.
Throughout your stay, Valérie remains at your disposal to guide you: good restaurants, ideas for outings, or practical questions.
Regarding the geographical location, the village of Moussac is as close to the Cévennes as it is to the Camargue, which will allow you to carry out a number of sports, artistic and cultural activities.

We have spent a wonderful 2 weeks in, what is probably, the best gite we have stayed in. There was lots of space inside with a large lounge/kitchen. It was light; the air conditioning and the blinds worked very well. For the first week our family was able to join us (son, daughter in law and two grandchildren). The swimming pool was superb and the grandchildren loved it. The outdoor spaces were great - the terrace where we ate all our meals and the decking by the pool, shaded by three olive trees. The location was brilliant - a 4 minute walk to the supermarket and boulangerie, 10 minutes to the restaurant/bar and beautiful views of the village and the river. It was close to Uzes, which is a stunning town, Nimes, the Pont du Gard and the Cevennes. Valerie was very helpful. She was always on hand when we had questions but never imposed herself. We thoroughly recommend le Coquelicot.

Excellent house in quiet location with secure parking and close to bakery. House was clean and has everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable and parking behind electric gates close to front door. Short drives to Uzes, Nimes and Pont du Gard. Not one complaint from us.

As fussy travellers finding the perfect home away from home as to speak is a must and we definitely found it whilst at Villa Coquelicot! This property has everything you would want from a holiday home. Finished to high and tasteful standards, very well equipped with a great heated pool and magnificent host.
The house is located in Moussac which is a perfect for visiting the area around Nîmes and Avignon.
With having had delayed flight we arrived at the property after all shops and supermarkets were closed. Valérie the property owner had been waiting for us and made the effort to drive with us around the town to find an opened restaurant for us to at least have dinner. She eventually phoned a restaurant where the chef made us a delicious dinners despite arriving after the kitchen was meant to close. On so many occasions she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and advised on various areas to visit. Even with fuel shortages in France Valerie came to our rescue the eve of our flight. She definitely deserves a gold medal for being the most caring and helpful host.
For anyone looking for an excellent property near Nîmes, I would 100% recommend this property. Thank you Valérie for the fantastic hospitality and to you very kind husband who we met on our departure.
