Amazing trip! loved the accommodation and Ruka. Would definitely come back again. Finland is a beautiful country.

It needs a welcome pack with instructions on how to use appliances, tv, how to unlock and lock the doors etc.

It was so so so cozy and unwinding staying at this cottage. Everything was well thought through. We loved the balcony that doubled as a sunroom with two swingchairs. The kitchen was equipped far more than we are used to in rented cottages/huts.We will definitely be back!!

Mukava minilomakohde

Näkymät lasitetulta pitkältä parvekkeelta kerrassaan loistavat. Olohuone ruokapöytineen mukava ja keittiö varustukseltaan toimivia.

Säilytystilat omille tavaroille erittäin surkeat koko huoneistossa. Osa kaapeista oli lukittuna omistajan omille tavaroille ja siivouskomero vei vähäisetkin säilytystilat makuuhuoneesta. Jos jotain postiiivista hakee, siivousvälineistä ja -aineista ei ollut pulaa. En kuitenkaan ollut lähtenyt lomallani siivomaan.;) Ohjeet eri koneiden/laitteiden käyttämiseksi olisi mukava löytyä huoneistosta. Surkeahko sohva olohuonessa.

Viihdyimme erittäin hyvin.

Kauniisti sisustettu ja siisti mökki. Mitään ei puuttunut, esim keittiössä hyvät välineet. Saunassa oli hyvät löylyt ja ranta oli lähellä. Upeat maisemat olohuoneesta🥰

Siivousvälineissä olisi voinut olla paremmat merkinnät, esim millä pyyhitään mitäkin.

Adders ons het gras!

Leuke locatie. Leuke cottage.

Tijdens het zoeken van dit verblijf vielen we voor het gunstige tarief, de mooie ligging en de nabijheid van onze activiteit de dag na onze overnachting. 1 nacht voor 3 personen zou ons 92 euro kosten. Echter, je moet dan toeslag van maar liefst 20 euro per persoon betalen voor verouderde badhandoeken en beddengoed. De hoeveelheid van dit tarief staat niet duidelijk vermeld bij de boekingsinformatie. Je moet hier achter zoeken. Je krijgt een betaalverzoek toegestuurd NA de boeking. In de informatie die je krijgt ook NA de boeking staat ook dat je een toeslag van maar liefst 90 euro moet betalen indien je zelf de cottage niet wil poetsen. Ook deze informatie is vooraf niet beschikbaar vooraleer je boekt. We kregen na ons verblijf een bericht dat we vergeten waren de cottage te poetsen. We hadden echter, de vloer gepoetst. Badkamer gepoetst. Beddengoed afgenomen en was verzameld. Afwas gedaan en alles netjes terug op de juiste plaats gezet. De keuken afgewassen en ook netjes achter gelaten. Het enige dat we niet gedaan hadden was een vuilbakje in de badkamer leegemaakt. Hier lag een propje papier in. We zijn welgeteld 12u in de cottage geweest, waarvan we 8u geslapen hebben. Uiteindelijk blijkt deze ene overnachting ons dus 242 euro te kosten en geen 92 euro. Achteraf klaagt de host dat ze 14 euro voor de boeking moet betalen en 90 euro aan haar poetsvrouw... Aan deze informatie heb ik helemaal geen boodschap, als ze hun kosten niet kunnen coveren aan de prijs waaraan ze verhuren, dan moeten ze verhuren voor een prijs die voor hun wel werkt en die mij ook heel duidelijk een beeld geeft wat mij te wachten staat. Zodat ik zelf kan beslissen of ik wil huren voor die prijs of niet, ik wil niet achteraf voor voldongen feiten gesteld worden. Denk goed na voor je hier gaat boeken, zeer mooi om te verblijven maar het heeft adders onder het gras.

Tolle Wohnung am See

Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön oberhalb eines Sees. Es handelt sich NICHT um ein freistehendes Haus, das war uns bewusst. Der nächste Ort (Ruka) ist einige Fahrminuten entfernt und die nächst größere Stadt Kuusamo ist in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Dort findet man auch große Einkaufszentren. Die Ausstattung, Einrichtung und Sauberkeit sind tadellos. Der Kontakt sehr freundlich und schnell.

Einzig das Bad ist nicht unbedingt ein Highlight. Die Dusche ist (Finnland-typisch) halb offen und in diesem Fall in der Ecke zwischen Waschbecken und Waschmaschine untergebracht und daher sehr beengt. Vermutlich ist das dem Umstand geschuldet, dass ansonsten kein Platz für die Sauna vorhanden wäre.
