Unbelievable floor-to-ceiling windows are the star of the living space, letting you all admire incredible tree views. Gather around the fireplace for a snuggly afternoon at home. The kitchen comes equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the cooking essentials to prepare mouth-watering meals, refreshing beverages, and more.
The screened-in porch is the perfect hidden place to enjoy a time on your own with a good book in hand, to listen to music, or to enjoy the marvelous surrounding views. Even though you might be on vacation, we know that sometimes work can't wait, and that's why Chalet Du Bois is conveniently equipped with a desk workspace to finish up remote work. Downstairs is where most of the fun is at. Featuring another living area with a flatscreen TV with cable, a Queen sofa bed, bunk beds, and your very own pool table, there's no room for boredom here. Additional entertainment can be had in the game/music room with board games, puzzles, an electric piano, and guitar. Enjoy the outdoors at the firepit or grilling something delicious on the gas grill available. Plus, the beach is just steps away, so get ready to enjoy Lake Michigan and nightly sunsets!

A 4x4 is required to reach this home in winter, but it is accessible for most vehicles most times of year.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved this house and its location. Very easy walk down to the (gorgeous) beach every day, and a great, well-stocked kitchen to cook in. We spent our whole trip going back and forth from the beach to the house, except for an outing to pick blueberries. Couldn't ask for a better trip. Load up on groceries before you arrive because there aren't many nearby supermarkets!

This home was lovely for our family. We could all sit together for meals either outside or inside. Very well-equipped and it felt like we were in a tree house. Nice access to a beautiful beach.

The house had plenty of space for a bunch of us to both gather and spread apart as needed. The beach is an incredibly short walk and the house had a few beach chairs and floaties. Plenty of wood for nights around the fire pit. They were a little short on some basic supplies like paper towels, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and propane for the grill. Some in our group didn't get cell reception. But I would stay here again. Mama and baby deer came by each day.

The house was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, we had plenty of towel and everything was well cared for.
