Lotus Hotel Ninh Bình

This was our favourite hotel we have stayed at in Vietnam, for various reasons. - the value for money is great - the quality of the hotel and rooms is fantastic, modern, very clean and spacious, with still a beautiful style - location is great, just a little from the Main Street so a little quieter but can walk or bike/grab - pool is lovely and quite rare in Vietnam hotels without paying a lot - free bikes - lovely breakfast The main thing however that made the experience so great was the family that run the hotel. Van and her husband were so kind, friendly and attentive. Nothing was ever too much. Now special mention for the pets! For people who don’t like animals, don’t worry, they have their own areas. However if you do - read on !! They were a highlight for me. They have a lovey friendly dog who recently had puppies. Van was always happy to bring out the puppies for me to play with! They also have a pet duck, who is very sweet.

First of all a huge thanks the the family ...who took care of us during our stay there.....so helpful,homely food,great environment.....arranged for a wonderful local guide ....and made our trip truly a memorable one....Always would recommend for family's

The shower is a bit run down, but expected in Vietnam

We loved the views of the rice fields and the quiet location with easy access to more lively restaurants and bars if we wanted. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We didn’t use the swimming pool. It looked cool and refreshing but didn’t get a lot of sun. We rented scooters from the hotel and did some exploring on our own with suggestions and a map from Thanh, the owner. Thanh also booked a private car for us. The dogs at the property were a highlight.
