The house was great! Everything was just as listed and pictured, clean and fresh/new feeling. The beds and couches were comfortable, the kitchen had all you would need (including keurig coffee pods and machine), and the games were great for the kids and adults! If I could have changed one thing it would have been the pedal boat - it was very dirty. It was covered in dirt, cobwebs, and spiders. We attempted to clean it and after killing a few larger spiders there were still at least a handful of very small spiders running around. With no hose or anything down on the dock to use other than our rag we gave up and the kids (2 and 4) were pretty disappointed. The boat should be included in the items cleaned between guests if it's going to be included on the listing and available to use because it really wasn't in a condition that it was possible for us to use.

Everything was perfect. The property, the water, the weather, the owners, everything. We had to leave early due to an emergency with our pet and even that the owners were understanding and wonderful. We will be back, unfortunately it will be without our little Nani, but she got to spend some of her last few days in a place of peace and beauty. So thank you Stacy and Tim, for everything.

The Pelican place is a nice place to unwind & relax. There's board games, card games, WII & a PAC MAN arcade to entertain everyone. And of course, we enjoyed the lake, paddle boat & coffee on the deck in the morning. Worth the stay.

Pelican Place was great. Really nice inside and the dock was perfect for the three boats we brought. The water in the lake was low but there was at least 6' at the dock. The only caveat I have is when the water is this low, be EXTREMELY careful going down the ramp in the morning when it is covered with dew. There is a sign posted, HEED THE WARNING. As in use both hands on the rails! We didn't have any major mishaps but it is tricky! Other than that (which of course the owners have no control over) this is a great place to base your fishing trip out of. Thanks!

Beautiful nice kept house. Loved our stay. My girls felt so at home and comfortable that they didn’t want to come back home. They really enjoyed the paddle boat as well. Will definitely come back one day. We really enjoyed our stay, but sadly didn’t catch any fishes off the dock. I guess we were too early.

The house was as described. Very clean & had all linens & the kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook. The only complaint I have is the thermostat would only go down to 74 degrees. We went in August 2021 when it was a 106 out & it was very warm in the house. It would have been nice to be able to keep the house cooler than what was suggested on the refrigerator on how to keep the house cool.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was sparkling clean with many thoughtful touches and a modern, trendy interior design. The beds were also very comfortable, which is always a huge plus. The back deck was a great space to kick back and relax, as well as do some grilling. The algae bloom did not impact our stay at all. Neighbors were nice and friendly. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this vacation rental...we can't wait to come back! Thanks for the wonderful stay

House was beautiful. Everything we needed was there for cooking, we made most of our meals. The deck on the lake was perfect. The water was low due to the drought but it was so peaceful to sit on the deck early in the morning and watch the birds fly in to fish. Perfect getaway!!! Only thing I would bring is a light for the outside table if you plan to sit out at night.

So basically summertime is when the algae’s smell is most prominent. In all fairness to the Host, they did warn us about the odor; but you won’t really know how bad it is until you’re there, to the point where you won’t have appetite to go fishing or even grill outside. (Our next door neighbor tried to clear out the algae but ended up vomiting but atleast they got free stay the next time they come since they booked it through VRBO aswell). Now, about the house. The house is AMAZING! they have TV, wii gaming console, and a pacman arcade machine which kept us entertained since we couldn’t go out. Now my only issues with the house is the AC system was out of service, but the host did provide fans and portable AC. but it was still HOT inside. Also, the light in the second room didn’t work so we had to use the little lamps. But overall, it was good. The host sent me $50 out of the goodness of their heart so we could eat out or something. So that was so nice of them. Will recommend this place just not during summertime.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this home. It’s beautiful and really well decorated. It was a home away from home and perfect for our family! We loved the spacious back deck and the pedal boat! We were able to bring our bass boat and catch so many fish out on the lake. It was an awesome trip! Definitely would like to come back to this house for another family vacation!

This house is beautiful! We enjoyed our time on the deck soaking up the sun & relaxing. My husband went on a guided fishing trip one day & was able to be picked up right at the dock which was super convenient. We also hiked up Mount Konocti one day & the views were absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Open, clean, upgraded, tons to of sleep options, TV’s are super simple to use and have everything you want (Netflix, prime, Hulu, etc....)The deck is perfect for rigging gear and the dock is in the closest channel to the main lake and a 5 minute boat ride from glen oaks launch.. Tim and Stacy we’re genuinely stoked that we had a good time, they’re good people. We’ll be back for years and years. Thanks T&S!!
