Villa San Biagio

It is the perfect home away from home. Great garden full with different types of trees and palm trees, with a good sized pool. It has a direct view to Etna and every evening we could see it erupt. The house is a bit isolated from the city so you definitely need a car and you don't have any restaurant or bars nearby so you need to consider buying some drinks and food if you don't want to drive in the evening. The villa has everything you need for cooking and it was very clean. It is at 50 minutes drive from Catania airport and 20 minutes from Taormina. We were welcomed by Antonio, who was very polite and helpful. We warmly recommend booking this villa for your next vacation in Sicily.

The boiler is very small so don't waste the hot water. And in the garden there is water pump that starts from time to time and it is a bit noisy.

The stay was a dream! The host waited for us with a plan about the house and the surroundings. He gave us tips on where to eat well and which beaches in the area are worth seeing. To the villa: a dream! Everything the heart wanted was to find there. The accommodation was very clean and in my opinion much nicer than in the photos!Especially the pool was amazing!! I will book this accommodation 100% again on my next trip to Sicily! It was very nice and definitely recommend!

because of all the mosquitoes and wasps in the area it was nice to have a mosquito net over the dinner table in the garden. this allows you to enjoy the evenings outdoors.

the noise of the environment (industrial area) and water facilities pumps of the house and neighboring houses are unbearable and not peaceful for holiday feeling. The pool is artificially build in and not a “real” pool and the wood around the pool is not maintained (splinters). The noise of flushing the toilet is waking up the whole household. In the kitchen you only literally have 2 knives to eat. I would suggest to optimize the kitchen inventory to match the occupancy of the house… In the neighborhood, because of the industrial environment, allot of burning of materials is being done leaving allot of stinks. the airco is only available in the entryway and need to support all the rooms including the bedrooms (providing that you leave the door open)
