Ocean Block retreat w/5 Balconies in Bethany Beach

The location was perfect and we will certainly look into the property again in the future. We are unable to go in 2027, but possibly 2028. It was very clean and comfortable. We also very much appreciated the opportunity for early check in. It was the perfect getaway!

The internet was spotty. That's honestly our only complaint. I didn't care because I wasn't working while there. Maybe it's just always that way in the particular location.

Very nice and bright, clean, easy access on and off the highway. Nice views! Spacious rooms.

Towels and sheets are not provided. We didn’t bring any with us, but It was my fault when I booked I didn’t read that they weren’t provided. We made a quick run to Walmart.

This location was near a private section of Bethany beach, where only town homes and condos were located. The beach was a short walk and was never crowded. A short drive will get you to the more crowded Bethany beach boardwalk area containing the popular restaurants, shops, and a park. Also nearby are Fenwick Island, Rehoboth beach, and Ocean City, Maryland. There are plenty of activities, shops, and restaurants to keep you busy. I highly recommend the bay-view retreat if you are traveling with other families and are looking for a single place to accommodate everyone, you will love it.

The major grocery chains are located in crowded section of Bethany, so you need to time your shopping, especially if it is the weekend. You enter the on the ground floor. There are three sets of steps to go up; the first floor has the king bedrooms, the second floor has the kitchen, and the third floor has the queen bedroom and bunk beds. This might bother some guests with a lot of luggage.
