Villa Tilila

This gorgeous villa certainly lives up to the photos. We received a warm reception from Abdo, help with transfer from the airport, a wonderful pool raised to a temperature conducive to young children, and loved our week as a family "just chilling". Between two sons who love doing BBQ's, we still had the charming Wafa cook two delicious Moroccan meals, who was equally very helpful with everything. Not mentioned in the 'blurb' is that the gated community also has a big central pool available to use and the toddler pool was much appreciated. We all slept well and appreciated the aircon during a hot week. The 20-minute taxi ride into the Medina was easy, and having already visited Marrakech, we all felt that Villa Tilila gave us the best of both worlds - touristing and chilling-at-home. To add that we truly appreciated the lovely furnishings and tasteful decoration in this spacious villa.

NOT a negative, just a tip for those who like doing their own cooking and BBQ’s like us, reminder to take your own Sabatier knives in your check-on luggage, as the kitchen sharp knives did not meet our expectations. A second chopping board would be appreciated, preferably in wood and a few more serving bowls. We also found the InDrive taxi app quicker to respond and appear where you bargain online for the price (perfect for the shopping runs to Carrefour) than Adam's City Tours who were excellent for the airport transfers, although you need to request that the driver stands inside the airport building with a sign inscribed with your name.

Tout était parfait

Nous avons passés un super séjour dans cette villa. Grands espaces, équipements de qualité, tout est conforme aux photos. Un grand merci à Wafa pour sa gentillesse, sa bienveillance et son aide, elle a rendu ce séjour formidable.

The property has a traditional aesthetic with great amenities. The rooms are a good size with streaming in each bedroom. The housekeeper is such a nice lady with excellent cooking skills. The host is very accommodating going above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant.
