It was good.

The hotel met our expectations overall. A big plus was the lounge and bar area—spacious, comfortable, and full of character, creating a truly cozy atmosphere. The rooms could use a bit of refreshing, but they served their purpose well; we rested and recharged for more sightseeing. The highlight of our stay was the lovely receptionist (if I remember correctly, her name was Natalia). She was incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting guests with a warm smile. Breakfast was good and satisfying. All in all, a pleasant experience!

It’s with mixed feelings because of the whole episode with the bunk bed.

Breakfast was really good The beach and pool area was also fine All in all a pleasent hotel

The safety regarding the upper bunk bed is not okay. Our youngest kid fall down from the bed because the safetyguard was faulty. The straps was not secured to the back of the bed frame, and there was missing a screw in the frame of the safetyguard. During the night our kid was able to press the guard out and it fall down, and short time after our kid fall down from the top bunk bed. Let’s say free fall from 1,8 meters. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT OKAY! I spoke with the reception and they just gave us a new safetyguard, and let’s us mount it out selves. Two days after the safetyguard was taken down and put on the floor ??? Then we must mount it our selves again, and there was no explanation why. This experience here, was not okay and the only thing we got, was an apology and a new safetyguard, then we where on our own. Really this was so serious and could have resulted in an bad accident with our kid and maybe hospital. We are happy that se was not badly injured, but a fall from this high is potentially life threatening!!! Cleaning under the beds was not okay, there was a lot of dust and also on top of the closets in the room. I needed a blanket and when I took that down, there was a rain shower of dust hitting the main bed.

Its a pleasant peaceful location

The breakfast was as to be expected but perfectly acceptable. The dining room was neat & clean with the usual buffet choices. The walk down to the beach through the camping grounds was most enjoyable. The beach was very windy but looked good with a small restaurant/pizzaria & plenty for young children to do.

It was OK but I wouldn't go back there

Staff was extremely nice and helpful Breakfasts were nice, price/quality (10 eur for breakfast) was very good. They provided us electric kettle on request. Parking

Only one electric socket in the room. Plus one in the bathroom, but it was one for hair dryer. No socket next to bed. Using both electric sockets (hair dryer and kettle) blows the fuses. Under our bed we could see the layer of dust which was probably there from unification of Italy.

Exceptional

I like to come back to Hotel Valdor for some next vacation. It’s the most beautiful hotel and area I have seen. I was really surprised how beautiful hotel I chose. Everything there is awesome, very nice stuff, the best breakfast, fabulous area, hotel very close to the beach, very special furniture in hotel. The stuff on the desk is very helpful and I got a lot of information and advice. Close to hotel is camping, very nice park and nature and beautiful sandy beach. Connecting with bus is very easy and from Punto Sabbioni is possible to go with boat to Venezia (it takes 1.5 hour) or to other places. Thank you Hotel Valdor!

Very good

Super nice place surrounded by a garden where you can take a quite beer in the evening. Friendly, easygoing staff and very cozy, large seating areas inside and outside. It's a bit dated, with loads of old Murano glass objects hanging at the walls, but I actually prefer that to the characterless globalised design you often find in newer hotels! If I remember well it was a 8 min. walk to the bus stop that within 10 minutes (c. € 2) takes you to the ferry port to catch the vaporetto to Venice. I would come again.

I didn't like the many large insect traps that made an electric buzzing noise every 20 seconds when an insect got killed. A Spanish friend that this is completely common in the Mediterraneans, but I have never come across it. I hope it kills only mosquitoes.

Nearby access to several restaurants and cafes was handy as we were accommodation only. The hotel and camp was very peaceful and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the pool, and the beach is good with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Rooms were substantial. Bike rental onsite. Two beach bars.

Beautiful hotel and very kind staff

Travelling with kids and a baby isn’t always easy but the staff at this beautiful hotel helped us every time we needed it and even if it meant to go the extra mile. Also the park behind the hotel and direct access to the beach are very nice.

It's very close to the beach, the beach is sandy, long and wide, nearby there are groceries and restaurants, it's easy to get to the port to go to Venice or Burano. The room was clean and the lounge was very spacious and good looking. We really enjoyed the stay and will recommend this place.

Post war charm on the beach

The hotel smells very clean and has quite big rooms. The lobby area is big and airy looking out into a lush garden. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the lobby.

The decor is dated and feels a bit forgotten by time. The hotel is also lobby for the camping site just beyond the garden. There are kiddy shows on stage in the evening. I had not detected that from the pictures.

Nice staff and good breakfast with great choice. The outside of the hotel is comfortably covered by trees. The staff is ready to help you with all information you need for your trips around (Venice). With your B&B are included lounger with umbrella on the beach.

Wonderful location straight on the beach. Beautiful garden and excellent rooms. Perfect bathroom with great running hot water. The staff is the best you can get and the careful personal attention by the owner is a gift.

The mattresses on the bed were quite worn out in our room, disturbing our sleep. The last night we turned the mattress upside down ourselves and the situation improved.

Gut zu finden, guter Parkplatz, sauber, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Ideal, um in der Nebensaison Venedig zu entdecken.

Kein wirklich negativer Punkt, aber die Einrichtung ist aus der Zeit gefallen. WLAN-Nutzung ist zwar kostenlos, jedoch stark eingeschränkt (Datengrenze, danach neues Passwort an der Rezeption anfordern).

Hotel bien, hubicación sin coche fatal.

El hotel es increible con resoecto a calidad precio. Estuvimos.muy cómodos. Llegamos en autobús y hay que caminar 1km para llegar. Aunque está cerca de Venecia, hay que caminar 1 km para llegar a coger el autobús, luego coger un vaporeto. Se tarda más de 1 h hacer los 9 km. Si se va en coche a descansar es ideal.

Que al ir sin coche, estábamos muy alejados de todo.

Un établissement exceptionnel à ne pas manquer!

Établissement splendide. Chambre immense. Qualité globale ainsi que des équipements au top. Personnel très stylé et efficace. Salon "cosy" idéal pour prendre l'apéritif. Petit-déjeuner ultra-complet.

Malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel (fermé). Ce n'est pas un point négatif mais un regret.

Fijne ligging! Dichtbij het strand met een mooie en goede beachclub in de buurt met goede service en eten. Ook mogelijkheid tot verhuur bedden incl parasol bij strand (hoort bij beachclub).

Zwembad is stukje van hotel verwijderd, 10min lopen, even ver als het strand. Moet eerst door camping wandelen om bij zwembad te komen. Hotelkamer was prima, alleen wat klein.
