About this villa rental
Resting on the gorgeous slopes of Monchique, the villa overlooks the stunning Algarve coast. A peaceful haven for those who love to be immersed in nature while having all the charms of the Algarve nearby. Casa Nino is an ideal holiday location for up to 12 people, well-suited for remote working / longer stays. The town of Monchique is 4km away and there are two excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable. There is a private heated pool (heated upon request), BBQ terrace and four spacious en suite bedrooms and terrace access which make this a really fantastic holiday location either to just relax in, or explore the locality.
Casa Ninho is situated on the south facing slopes of Foia, the highest mountain in the Algarve and is easily accessed by tarmac road to the end of the drive.
Refurbished to a very high standard this villa provides a perfect base for your holiday in the Algarve. The villa can comfortably sleep 12 people, with four generous bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms (one of which has a sofa bed / sleeper couch) and two twin rooms, the living room also has a comfortable sofa bed / sleeper couch. All bedrooms have fully fitted en-suite bathrooms. The villa is centrally heated for the cooler months (please contact host regarding the costing for the central heating - the can be added to the quote), and has a large open fire in the lounge.
The fully fitted kitchen includes a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee machine loads of pots, pans & utensils. The dining area has a large family dining table seating 8, the lounge offers TV/ DVD, VHS, CD, and mini disk player.
Balcony, terrace, BBQ terrace and pool terrace all face south with breathtaking views. 10m x 4m heated swimming pool. Please get in touch with the owner for extra charges for heating the pool.
Notes:
The villa rental includes the cost of a weekly change of bed linen and towels, housekeeper, water, electricity, gas (in winter months there is a surcharge, please contact owner), maintenance of the swimming pool and garden. Any defects or deficiencies must be reported within 48 hours of commencement of the rental period. After this time it will be assumed that everything is in order.
The villa rental price does not include personal, travel or cancellation insurance, transportation, airport transfers or mid-stay cleaning of the villa, beach and pool towels.
Use of TV, video, DVD, HiFi, Internet, garden furniture etc is free of charge and therefore the availability or function of any such items cannot be guaranteed.

We came with six adults and five children and had a wondeful stay in the well equiped villa the pool was lovely.

Megans house was absolutely amazing. Located in a secluded spot on the mountain with a spectacular view. Rooms for the kids downstairs and the parents upstairs - perfect! And with a bathroom in every room, what a treat. Kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. The view from the balconies stunning.
The pool was amazing and we stayed in a lot because the house was too nice to leave. There is a great hike just behind the house up to the top of the mountain Foía which was great. Also Megan gave us great advice on where to go to the beach. Nice restaurants on the road between Monchique and the house. Jean was very helpful whenever we had any questions about the house.
Be sure to set the GPS to Monchique or you will end up climbing the mountain in your car on a VERY narrow road.
We would love to come back to this perfect vacation spot. Thank you Megan for sharing.

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Ninho ... a week was not long enough to enjoy this beautiful, homely villa with its lovely gardens and fantastic views.

We enjoyed a two week Christmas break in Casa Ninho. The house was a welcome embrace to the wild wet windy weather. We were amidst a cloud of fog and cold yet the house was cosy comfortable, excellently equipped for cooking and generally a gift in these condiitons. The heated pool was very effective and much enjoyed even in these conditions. Thankfully the weather improved for the last 6 days. Monchique is a perfect village filled with little secrets you have to look to find including the fish shop, local vegetables and fine local delicacies. We had some minor hiccups which were dealt with immediately by the amazing MarieAnn. Megan was more than helpful also. I highly recommend Casa NInho. Thankyou to all.
