Beautiful quaint hotel in a lovely convient location on Lake Como scenic route.

The Hotel was beautiful. We had a balcony which really added to our stay with the little church bell ringing. Shower in room was amazing. Room had lovely antique decor, v quaint little hotel. Great parking outside property. Pool area lovely although we arrived late so unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to use it.

A particular member of staff was very impatient and seemed very frustrated during breakfast time which tainted our breakfast experience.

Not such cosy rooms and the hotel manager was super rude.

The hotel manager was so rude. We came for breakfast 10 mins earlier and she screamed at us for coming too early. She could hardly let us in to wait at the reception. Fortunately, younger receptionists were much more hospitable and polite.

Cute, cozy and well decorated place with good breakfast and friendly staff

This place is super cute, staff is amazing and it’s close enough to everywhere you need to go. You will need a car but they have parking for you. We loved our two nights stay there and already planning on coming back in Fall!

Charming hotel with lovely staff and the swimming pool was a bonus! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff were very helpful. Drinks came with free cheese, hams and olives (nice touch). The swimming pool was great to keep cool with sun loungers and towels provided. The hotel is old and full of charm with places to sit and read quietly or have a late night drink. The balcony was beautiful.

It was a shame the restaurant was closed as this would make it perfect (hence 9/10!)

Sadly, a disappointment

The location was pretty. However, the view was spoilt by the covered pool with stale water in it . Noise from the cars and bikes on the main road were constant . The lack of a lift meant carrying the cases upstairs with no assistance. The room itself was fine but could have offered a compementary bottle of water and biscuits plus no milk in the room or coffee other than decaffeinated.The cleaning of the room was quite late to he completed with no change of sheets and again no renewal of the coffee or tea . The hotel had no restaurant, and the village offered very little in amenities .if you don't have a car, then I wouldn't stay here as buses were intermittent and full. All in all, it's not the best hotel we have stayed in, so this is why we checked out a day early .Finally, any information given was always incorrect.

Wonderful stay.

Old style hotel that carries a lot of history as the all around items can tell. Only 5-10 mins driving from Lake di Como, consists a smart choice if you don't want to pay a fortune staying by the Lake. Pool area, the veranda and gardens area are beautiful and is a must experience to relax. We had a room upgrade for free to a more spacious one. Everything was fine, although bathroom needs some renovation. Breakfast was a bit limited in options and for some reason they still follow a COVID-19 policy, where you can't serve yourself, but the waiters will do that. Good value for money.

In the country of espresso and cappuccino, coffee deserves to be much better. Neither machine coffee nor cappuccino ordered satisfied us.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you want to discover the beaury of Como Lake and nearby places.

The staff was absolutely polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic and it is also close to Lugano, Switzerland. Our room and bathroom was very-very clean and and we had daily room cleaning too. Hotel provides a secure car-park on site.

We had a room on the street side thus it was a little bit noisy due to the unexpected traffic on this small road. The breakfast seems to be a bit simple if you stay for couple of days.

We had a wonderful time.

we particularly loved the food of its restaurant. This was the best food we ate at Côme. The employees were very nice and the room was lovely with its authentic style.

the roads to reach the hotel. We came by car from Switzerland and the mountain roads were worse than what we expected. An advise for future travelers, don't take your car. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel for easy travel.

Property has a pool - needed to be cleaned though Ferry to other areas is close by - one bus ride away or a 9 minute drive Staff are friendly Breakfast is buffet style but someone serves you.

No local /tourist information given at checkin Best to stay here if you drive if you want the freedom of travelling around with ease. Buses are not regular so it’s best to stay out all day if your travelling by bus. The latest bus I saw was around 7pm. Walk is 1hour to the ferry and town but there is no pavement for most of it so not advised to do this as the roads have a number of bends which will make it hard for cars to see you. Drinks not included with breakfast - you have to pay

Unbearable hot temperature and noise.

The kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

The loud noise almost every time (heavy trucks and motorbikers). The lack of airconditioner or any other possibility (shutter or shade) because of the 40 degrees centigrade inside the room. We were a lot of times in Italy but this was the worst place by noise and temperature.

The staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the room was beautiful. The town of Castiglione d'Intelvi is beautiful and only a short drive to Argegno and its access to the mid lake towns of Bellagio, Mennagio, and Varenna.

I'd definitely recommend to rent a car despite seeing several online reviews that suggested you don't need one. Cabs arent the most accessible, particularly late, and the bus connections are spotty at best.

The room is a little bit dark and the light in a bathroom was blinking. We complained to the staff but nothing has changed.
