About this house rental
Escape to The Goshen House. Enjoy relaxation, convenience, and open space in our new well-stocked and centrally-located home. This home was designed with comfort in mind: you'll love the radiant heat floors, open floor-plan, and modern kitchen. Let Fido get the zoomies out in the fenced-in yard or take her out on Heritage Trail, just steps away. Or just relax in the zen backyard, including a hot tub, fire pit and grill. Only 1 hour drive to Manhattan.
This home is ideal for enjoying quality time with loved ones. The full kitchen opens up to the dining room with seating for eight, and living room where you can snuggle up on movie night. Use the brand new smart TV to login to your own streaming service, or catch your favorite show on one of the hundreds of channels provided. Downstairs you will also have a full bathroom with tub, and a cozy bedroom with one queen and one twin bed.
The second floor has 2 sleeping spaces, a full bathroom, and a work space. One bedroom has a king size bed plus a twin day-bed with a twin trundle for kids. The rest of the upstairs is an open space with two full-size beds, plus a small pull-out couch, and a desk is located in front of the window with a nice view of the backyard. (Please note that this bedroom does not have a door, but is separated from the other bedroom by the staircase. Sound does travel between the 2 rooms.) You'll find lots of books and kids' toys upstairs as well, along with a full bathroom with a soothing claw-foot tub/shower.
The backyard is fully fenced in, so feel free to bring the dogs along. We also have a lovely deck for lounging outside, and a hot tub in the backyard. There is plenty of parking and we provide free, unlimited electric car charging on our Blink level 2 charger. Trendy restaurants, bars, and cafes are all within a 5 minute walk, and Legoland is less than 2 miles down the road!
We would like to kindly ask that you do not invite additional guests to the house without prior notice. We're more than happy to have you host meals, etc with additional friends and family, but we do not allow parties or underage drinking.
We love to offer early check-in and late checkout to our guests for free, but please note that it will be available ONLY if we do not have a check in/out on the same day. You may request early check-in / late checkout 1 day before your arrival / exit. If you absolutely need early check-in or late checkout, please book an extra day in order to account for that.

When we first checked in to the property unfortunately the cleaning service had missed the property. The owner was very quick with a response and getting the service out to the location and they were very thorough getting everything cleaned and ready. It is a great location, about 10 mins from Legoland and right next door to a small park/playground area which the kids loved. It was also very spacious. From the pictures, I thought that all of the beds were in open areas but actually there are only two beds that are in more of an open loft space but that worked out perfectly for our group and the rest are behind doors. Would recommend.

We had a great time staying at this property in Goshen, NY! We enjoyed the bike path, the backyard deck, and the fire pit the most. The house was beautiful and very clean. I was performing at a venue nearby and the owners came out to support as well. They are very friendly and take great care of their guests. I recommend staying here!
