This was such a relaxing and romantic stay! Everything was truly wonderful and the view is absolutely incredible. The bed was so comfy, the hot tub was relaxing — and the kitchen was spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful. Super clean and tidy when we checked in.We came here for our anniversary trip, and the host even left us a bottle of wine — extremely kind! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. :)

The house is beautiful and well furnished. It’s in a safe and convenient neighborhood with 10 minute access to a state park with hiking trails and beac and great restaurants within 15 minutes as well as a Safeway. The kitchen is sparsely provided. Plenty of for coffee drinkers but nothing for tea drinkers and the oil was stale. Good lighting throughout the house and it was wonderful to be able to go into a spa. I didn’t mind that it had some sand in it when I arrived. In most cases, the owners responded promptly and accurately when I reached out.

This was the perfect base for our family to explore Whidbey. The house was a great setup for our dog, with fenced yards in front and back. Dave made sure we had everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable and well-supplied. Would definitely stay again!

The place is exactly as described on VRBO. Super happy that the backyard and front yard were fenced for the !Since I was coming just for 3 nights, I really appreciated that the fridge had basic condiments and that coffee pods were given. No need to rush to the grocery store as soon as you arrive for your morning coffee.

The view from this cliffside house is stunning!Our dogs (and we) especially appreciated the fully fenced yard so they could run and play safely, and the outdoor fire pit and ample firewood was an unexpected bonus.Dave is a great host and is very responsive and communicative. We picked this property because of the ocean view, which was indeed stunning sitting on the edge of a bluff, and also because of the many top-rated reviews.Fully fenced-in backyard was clean, well-kept, great for my pets. Most appreciative of host not loading us with any to-do list upon checking out. Bedroom was clean, very comfortable bed and pillows!Some items that made me question this property having largely top reviews only:Kitchen floor was very dirty; we spilled a drink by accident, and when I wiped up the floor, paper towels came up brown.Rear windows and patio glass door were very dirty. Not just from dirt, dust, but also with many smears and smudges on glass that seemed to have been on there for a while.Some tabletops also were dusty. Lamp in living room was missing a light bulb altogether; side table lamp in master bedroom did not work.Dishwasher never worked, but maybe not so important because host did not expect us to do anything.It just seemed as the overall cleanliness of the property and a required prep check for functionality of all property items were overlooked in some critical areas. Please consider addressing these issues; it would make your property a true gem.

We had a fabulous visit filled with my daughter’s birthday celebration, Easter morning, enjoying the tulip fields, beach combing, exploring near Deception Pass and shopping around the local small towns. The bald eagles and military air activity made for special viewing as well. Highly recommend!

The view was stupendous with plenty of windows to enjoy it no matter the weather. The adjustable bed was very comfortable. The couch and loveseat are all reclining and very comfortable. The host was very responsive and came and turned on the gas to the fireplace for us. The backyard is perfect for dogs with several dog parks within 20 minutes drive. The only slight challenge is that it's easy to miss the address on the first pass. We'd stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property is incredibly nice and spacious and the views from the backyard are top tier. The amenities were great except I’d prefer to have an extra set of bath towels (they only provided o e each for my wife and I’s two night stay), but thats a minor thing. It was just me, my husband, and our big standard poodle Tuvix. This place is Tuvix approved (oh, and human approved!). A tremendous, big, fenced yard and tremendous, big view. Surgically clean yet had that "welcome" feeling. nice sized place. We've been visiting Whidbey for many years and hope to retire there. We felt so at ease here that we are exploring the local neighborhood for our own purposes. That said, we've already reserved our next visit at this location, and we're bringing our Mom! The house is the best we've found.

You won’t be disappointed with a stay at the Cliffside Cottage! The place: Spacious, clean, and quiet. The house is beautifully located with unobstructed views of the ocean. While being really close to town, it feels very private and has lots of room Amenities: The hot tub is amazing. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, making it perfect to either cook or bring food in. Wi-if was great and all in all, just bring your belongings. They have coffee and tea with all the fixings, and even have some nice adult beverages on your arrival! Very thoughtful. Bed was amazingly comfortable and so was the furniture. The hosts really think of everything. Perfect place to enjoy the stars (after the neighbours’ timed bright patio lights go off) Thank you for a wonderful stay!
