Location excellent House very clean and comfortable

A small coffee table would have been useful in lounge area .There was one at side of sofa but felt too awkward to move furniture A property guide book or town street map/instructions /handy torch etc would help strangers to area Had a toaster trip electric couldn’t find fuse box at first it was above the inner door boxed off Owner rang back to offer help but sorted problem ourselves No problems afterwards .

It was mean not to leave a pint of milk and few tea bags Which is normal with air bnb We had to buy a washing up cloth as there was not an unused one. Information on how to operate tv heating etc no instructions for anything. We new kingsbridge well but newbies would have to fend for themselves,

THe location was excellent. 2 minute walk to the shops, restuarants and waterfront. It was also a 10 minute walk to my daughters house .

The stairs were very steep up to the bedrooms. Not ideal if you have any mobility problems. The shower was excellent but the water very slow to drain away. The bin in lkitchen and the small bin in tghe lounge area had not been emptied from previous guests.

We liked that it was a cosy small house, open plan kitchen, bathroom was clean and modern, comfortable beds, enormous modern fridge, modern TV. Plenty of glasses, plates, utensils etc.

On arrival a man started shouted at us as we were parking, later on we realised this was the neighbour. His behaviour was unacceptable and probably he behaves the same way with everyone arriving because he is annoyed by the small/tight parking spaces. The property smelt with damp and there was no toilet paper. The sink area was very dirty, there was a brush with visible dried food bits on, the washing bowl/drainer was also removed as they were so dirty we did not want to use. The faux fur rug makes the room cosy, but again this was dirty and dusty, not very practical in a holiday let. Fire hazard- too many cables/extension lead in straw bag behind TV.
