12 Settler Sands Beachfront Cottage is well located with a beautiful view and excellent proximity to the beach. The unit was clean, well equipped and had everything we expected for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi worked well throughout. Overall, the cottage itself is well maintained and provides a pleasant seaside break.
The complimentary coffee was unfortunately not great, and only coffee creamer was provided. It would have been a thoughtful touch to include a small carton of milk in the fridge to help guests settle in, especially for that first morning coffee.
Our first night, which was a Wednesday, was particularly noisy due to the close proximity to Guido’s and what appeared to be a student night. There was loud music until around 12:30 am, followed by activity in the parking area with cars revving, spinning and spectators cheering, which continued until roughly 2:30 am. This made sleep very difficult. The second night was noticeably better and quiet from about 11 pm onwards.
