On-The-Beach Escape: Oceanfront in Surfside!

This was a truly extrodinary rental experience. In order: fantastic communication with the host especially about the check-in and check-out times - very reasonable; the property itself was very well maintained, with everything in working order; parking easy and safe. Spotlessly clean. Lots of towels. So many nice little touches at the unit: automatic light outside the front door, umbrellas in a stand, ready for use; a very well equipped kitchen; an abundance of paper products. Lots of blankets and throws for use on the balcony or on the huge sofa. All the little annoyances you find at most rentals were already addressed here. The crowning touch was when we needed a pen and paper to make a grocery list. The first drawer I tried I found an entire tablet and a pouch with 15 new pens! Such a treat! Our stay was in the off-season so not as crowded as full summer, but the unit was totally quiet. Again, it is a very nice building, much more "home" oriented than "hotel/motel" quality. During any stay, I always say, "If I had my own rental property, I would do this, this, and this." This property by far came the closest to doing it right. It was a very enjoyable stay.

We didn't cook at all, so it's hard to judge, but the kitchen seemed to be VERY well stocked, both in dishes, utensils, and cooking/baking needs. The main bedroom's bed was HUGE; the mattress a bit soft. The twin beds in the second bedroom were ok.

This was our second time at this property and it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful views from the balcony and the condo itself is clean and well equipped with everything you would need.

Nothing wrong with our stay at all!

The pictures on-line were nice, but they don’t do it justice. This place is big, way bigger than it looks. And it’s really tastefully decorated with eclectic beach treasures. Beautiful granite countertops, a lot of kitchen ware to choose from and everything accessible and easy to use. Great coffee machine, nice showers, comfortable beds, plenty of extra cozy blankets and pillows. An in fridge ice machine and water filter too! A lovely beach escape. Family of 5 with 3 older children, fit more than comfortably.

I can’t think of anything we did not like, except that it rained while we were here for a bit. But there’s nothing you can do about that.
