The condo was perfect. We would stay there again.

So the day before we arrived, I happened to see the review about the parking situation. That review is spot on. Seems like the owner should work something out with this building to allow the guest the one parking spot allocated to the owner when the owner is not there. It felt very trapped having to be shuttled to our car (especially considering that meant being in a van with multiple people which of course increases the risk of the spread of COVID). Many times, we opted to just walk - and its quite the hill, especially with little kids. And this is NOT good if you have ski gear - which they do not let you bring into the building. The condo itself is indeed nice, but seems old with the popcorn ceiling, and many parts of the ceiling need repair in the main bedroom. The pool and hotub are nice features, But this is indeed NOT ski in-ski out, and that description should absolutely be removed from the listing. I at least had contacted the owner and was not expecting it, but it should not be a feature of this listing as I can see how that is confusing. Overall - we had a great time at Sugar mountain and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Note to the owner - I think you need to check on having your cable come through the HDMI cord because it's coming through in extreme low definition. That's too nice of a TV to have such bad cable viewing! I didn't want to mess with it, but I am sure this change would upgrade it! Thanks for letting us stay.

When I searched for a place to stay I filtered Ski In/Ski Out because I was hoping to spend my days and nights on the slopes with my family. This is not a Ski in Ski Out location which is listed in the amenities. The parking is off site and you have to take a shuttle back and forth to get to your car. The shuttle was efficient and the drivers were friendly but this was very disappointing as we spent a lot of time waiting on the shuttle, getting dropped off, getting in the car, waiting for it to warm up, drive to the slops, park, ride a shuttle to the slops, tip again, each way, for 3 days in a row, cost of several hours of skiing. The loading and unloading zone at the condo only holds 5 cars at a time and the day we arrived we waited in line for almost an hour for our turn to pass the security check point. I talked with a couple people and was told we just got their at a really busy time and that wasn't normal but it happened. When we finally got to the security check point they didn't have any record of my reservation. They could not look it up by confirmation number or property ID from VRBO. I didn't have any communication prior to arriving with an address so they couldn't find me. The owners name/property managers name only showed a 1st name and last initial but they were able to find the owner after 15-20 minutes. I also messaged the owner through VRBO and she replied within 15 minutes which was great but after driving 6 hours, waiting and hour in line, with two kids, my wife and car full of stuff we were ready to get out of the car. In the past I received emails or even texts from the owners with their direct line and instructions. With that said, we were pleasantly surprised with the condo. It was nicer than the pictures showed. Beds, towels, kitchen supplies, furniture and TV's were very nice. Ice maker didn't work but there were ice trays. Some of the outlets didn't work but we managed. Internet was good. We were not able to use the fire place because it was too windy which is what it is but was disappointing. I don't want this to sound like a negative review because price is what you pay and value is what you get in return.. It was a good value but we were disappointed based on the misrepresentation of ski in/ ski out, and the parking situation but all in all we would recommend this property as long as you know what your getting from day one.
