Excellent stay in a divine island without a care in the world!

Breakfast was excellent and accommodated all the tastes and the location was strategic: close to the center and to the beach!

I have nothing to say here. Both the manager and the personnel were very friendly, polite and accommodating.

Amazing hotel, great staff

We loved our stay at Aelos!!! The staff was wonderful and so kind. The free breakfast was great. The hotel was walkable to the main town as well as beaches and the room was so cute. Would definitely reccomend!

This property and island are Gems!

The property was beautifully maintained. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and the landscaping was gorgeous. The breakfast included was also delicious with many items to select from. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all recommendations. The location is ideal and in walking distance to absolutely everything. This is a beautiful island with golden sandy beaches where you can enjoy a selection of beautiful little restaurants and bars hidden in their maze of streets in the "Chora". Walking the coast all the way to the point is a must. Along the way you will pass every beautiful beach Koufonisia has to offer, and get to choose which one you would like to enjoy for the day. The rock formations along the path are stunning! We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly be back. This island is a gem, and so was the hotel, owner and their staff!

A lovely hotel in a great location that allowed for easy exploration between towns. Kind reception staff and great breakfast each morning. Great views!

There were a lot of stairs down to our room, which proved to be difficult by the end of a day of exploration. Seems to be the case for most hotels in that area, though.

Beautifully relaxing

The hotel is so amazing! The breakfast is great, the pool and facilities are also really lovely. The best part is the staff, everyone here is great and so helpful when our ferries got cancelled.

Amazing relaxing stay, we will be back!

This hotel is a little relaxing paradise on a typically barren Cycladic island. Perfect for a leisure vacation, when you need a break from the beach, sand, sun and wind. The property is very well managed and maintained. Every little detail is thought through to make every moment of your stay comfortable. The pool is very clean and the water is perfect to relax in. Little lash garden is nice touch, lounge chairs are very comfortable, you can spend a whole day without getting out of the resort. Breakfast is well stocked with continental breakfast and some Greek add on like local yogurt, honey and spanakopita. The view of the sea is breathtaking! There is also cafe and a bar if you need a snack during the day without going into town. Location is very central, 10 minutes walk to downtown and 15 minute walk to the beach (take short cut behind the building by the Mixelis restaurant) The hotel is on a little steep hill, beware if you have mobility issues. The owner is very nice, he picks you up and drops you off at the port, which is very nice as the roads are bumpy and it is hard to push the suitcase.

Bathroom could do with an update as lighting was poor and shower not great. Maybe a bit more explanation that they did lunch and bar snacks. I only found out when i checked out. Other than that, great place and great owners / staff

The Aeolos Hotel, Koufonisia... a good choice to make.

The owners, Stan and Sylvia, along with Janis on reception were all very friendly and helpful. Stan and Sylvia are both Greek but have lived in the USA for a number of years and therefore have an excellent knowledge of English. My double room was very spacious and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. The breakfast was good and was taken in a covered outdoor patio. Koufonisia is a quieter island and is a great place to visit The hotel is located quite close to the centre of town with a good selection of bars and restaurants. All in all, a very relaxing and rewarding stay.

Good stay

This hotel is great in a good position 10 minutes walk to port and town The owner picks you up and drops you at the port very friendly guy The pool is great and nice to come back to relax This place is really clean you always see people cleaning and tidying up Breakfast was included and although good it is always the same each day The room was big clean and they leave a bottle of wine for your arrival which is a nice touch The owners are friendly and helpful We liked our stay but don’t think we will return we saw a better place

The bed wasn’t very comfortable with a cheap mattress which was disappointing They offer laundry service but want to charge €45 !!! for a bag we only paid €12 /€15 on other islands and in serifos it was free which was amazing Sometimes the breakfast staff weren’t very friendly

A quiet and comfortable hotel, with just everything you need.

The staff was simply amazing, ready to help with everything. The hotel has beautiful garden and pool area and it is also close (walking distance) to the best beaches on the island. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

A very well run hotel situated perfectly with a short walk into town, the port and our favourite bar

The room was very clean and fresh with a nice view over the pool. The hotel has a calming atmosphere and is situated perfectly to explore the Island. This was our favourite out of 4 hotels we stayed in throughout our trip around Greece. Friendly and attentive staff who offer a great breakfast.. Highly recommend and can't wait to head back!

Nothing short of perfect

In a Perfect location with a short walk to town one way and to the beautiful beaches the other way. Beautiful hotel well maintained and spotlessly clean. Spacious rooms with amazing balcony views. Lovely pool area. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful- one of the best small hotels I have stayed in in Greece

Relaxing and charming stay.

The managing family were helpful throughout, including keeping us updated ahead of arrival and departure and transferring us to/from the port. The hotel was always peaceful and the breakfast and service charming. The room was spacious and had a nice patio area. The pool was a good size and clean. It was an easy short walk into the town centre and to nearby beaches.

First class hotel

This is a first class hotel. spotlessly clean and in a brilliant position overlooking the sea. I had a great apartment , it was spacious with a fabulous balcony overlooking the garden with views to the sea , it was really private. The pool and area around it is just great , very clean and a lovely place to spend some time each day . The room was cleaned daily . All the staff seem really friendly and accommodating . Breakfast was plentiful . the hotel is within 10 minutes of the port and shops / bars. it’s just a brilliant place - loved every minute of my stay here

A pleasant and trouble free stay.

The Hotel was just 15 minutes away from the port. It was also just 15-30 minutes walk away from the beaches. The room was big and clean. The staff was amazing. Really helpful during the whole stay. Although the hotel is just a few minutes away from the port, the staff picks up the guests at the port, which is a really nice touch.

Very good choice, but maybe a bit expensive.

Travelled with friends, on August 10-14th. Spacious rooms, clean and adequately equipped. The transportation from and to the port was on time, helpful and friendly driver. A bit expensive despite of us we staying upon the peak season. You need to walk 10miniutes to get to the closest beach. Haven't had breakfast nor used the pool but this was out of choice. I would stay again.
