The hotel lies on a sunny terrasse above the Millstätter See giving a nice view on the valley but not directly onto the lake. The room was of sufficient size, equipped with basic comfort and kept meticulously clean. There were two chairs on the balcony.
The breakfast and the dinner were good. Unfortunately all seating on the terrasse was booked and we sat in the glass covered veranda. Wi-Fi was working flawlessly. There is ample parking in front of the hotel.
It is a family run pension. The owners are kind and forthcoming.
The bathroom is tight with no window. The toilet was too close to the sink, making it shear impossible to sit conveniently on the toilet.
Huge portions are served. Quantity should not exceed quality. A B moll for the deer goulash that was dry and overcooked with a very common sauce, lacking finesse.

Zeer aardige dame van het hotel. Kwamen in de avond aan en ze vroeg nog of we drankje mee wouden naar de kamer om nog van het uitzicht te genieten op het balkon.
