The Knotty Loft is located in Lutsen Mountains. You'll love this home away from home because it is a unit on the top (3rd) floor, with amazing views of the Superior National Forest. This cozy condo is the ideal getaway for a weekend ski trip or a summertime home base for your North Shore explorations.
Note: Free High-Speed Internet service is available throughout the resort, no access code needed (but you do have to accept the “terms and conditions” to log on). *Being a large resort and so far up north, it is not always a great connection.

This unit is individually owned and operated and is not managed by Caribou Highlands Resort.
The resort wants us to tell you that you do NOT have access to the “Resort-Planned Activities/Events” and the shuttle, but luckily this is a ski-in/ski-out vacation home!
Our local staff is pleased to tend to your housekeeping/maintenance needs and provide you with fresh linens/towels if you need additional. So please do NOT go to the Resort Front Desk. Upon booking you will receive the pertinent contact info for any needs. Thank you!

We loved the unit layout for our family of 5. The location was fantastic to be able to ski in and out. Loved having a separate locker downstairs for our skis and snowboards. Also loved having an assigned parking space close by. This was our first ever VRBO and we would book here again!If we return for another winter vacation in L

We love Lutsen and absolutely loved the ski in and ski out condo! Needs some updates for sure but and bigger coffee cups. It had everything we needed and Jesse was so easy to work with and communicated well! We’ll be back for sure.

This is a fantastic, ski in and ski out location. The space is laid out well. Communication, check in and check out were all great.
The furniture was less than comfortable and the wifi was unusable. All units share the same signal and it simply is strong enough for that kind of use. That meant no TV and no devices.
Once your day is over on the slopes you need bring books, board games etc. Again, the location is amazing but the unit isn't relaxing.
