About this house rental
Thirsty Mermaid is located in the Casa Marina area just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean.
This beautiful property has 2 floors. Walk into the front door, and you will be greeted with a bright and spacious living room that also contains a wet bar. There are two guest rooms on the first floor with a large guest bath. The laundry room is also located on this floor.
Move to the second floor where there is a larger living area along with dining and a full kitchen to prepare your family meals. The second floor also has two bedrooms, one with an en suite and a guest bathroom for the second bedroom. Each room has its own TV, and the house comes equipped with Wi-Fi. The second floor also has a balcony to sit back and relax after a long day of fun. Or better yet, relax in your own private swimming pool (heated at your request during cooler times)
There's also a covered lanai to take in the island breezes with a cocktail or book, or use it as a gathering spot for family and friends for game night and barbeques. If you truly want to live like a local, there's an outdoor shower to get the authentic Key West experience.
Lots of on and off-street parking is available, driveway can fit a small trailer.
This property is close to the beaches and close enough to Downtown Duval to catch all the activity going on in town.
This house has lots of space which makes the living space very unique.

Much thanks for providing outstanding accommodations and service during our Key West vacation.
Everything that was provided, and needed, far surpassed our expectations. The very minor issues that we experienced were always immediately addressed. We were also extremely impressed with the ease, and timeliness of reaching a company representative. Every service person was extremely friendly and helpful with questions that we had regarding the island. This started from the moment that we arrived and met Larry.
Our family will definitely return and recommend booking this address and using Preferred Properties.
Thanks again we had a truly magical vacation.

The vacation rental was spotless.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

This is a great house in a good location. Walking distance to Higgs Beach. The pool was perfect and private. The house was a great size. There were a few quirks with the house. Some chairs were coming apart and the floor in the main living area/kitchen was severely buckled. Also the smoke alarm was going off one night all night, which should not happen if the batteries are routinely changed. The biggest issue for me was the code to enter was not correct. After driving for a day and arriving at 1pm, I could not get into the unit. It took about an hour to get the correct code.

The property was comfortable for us. Everything about it was perfect. Management is wonderful. We are looking forward to staying there next time.

House was great. Pool left a lot to be desired. It would get cleaned on Thursday and by Saturday it would turn green. Totally dissatisfied with the pool. And the neighborhood left a lot to be desired.
