About this house rental
Our place is a peaceful oasis for a family or group getaway. We are located in Cedar Lake, IN and close to Beecher, IL, just one hour from downtown Chicago. The property includes a hiking trail through the forest, great fishing spot in large pond, outdoor deck w/ fireplace and grill. A great time for a couples getaway, corporate retreats or family gatherings.
Our location is great for family and friend gatherings but we do have a policy of no house parties with groups no larger than the 14 guest maximum. This rule is strictly enforced with onsite monitoring by management. Any additional guests, regardless of whether they are staying overnight, can be approved beforehand with an additional $50 fee per person/per night. Any special event requests can be discussed in advance with an agreed additional rate. We have two outdoor security cameras. One facing the driveway and parking area, and the other on the back deck.
We have a pack n play and booster seat available. If there are other needs for babies or young children, please ask and we will do our best to accommodate.

This was a perfect location for our annual family getaway. With 8 adults and 4 kids under 5, the size of the home and the grounds was perfect. Having the pool and gazebo right off the deck was a perfect way to spend the afternoons. Then after the kids went to sleep, the grownups moved to the large movie room. Ala I. All a perfect trip. We stayed at this beautiful rural property for a family gathering to celebrate my son's wedding. The house and grounds are wonderfully set-up for entertaining both small groups and large with almost every kind of entertainment you could want. The host was pleasant and immediately responsive to our questions. We'd definitely like to stay there again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Their home was just absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time walking around the property everyday. Watched movies in the theater room. Even though we were there for work we were able to enjoy our evenings with movies, games, and sitting in front of the fireplace watching tv. They had everything you could possibly need to make it feel like home away from home!

We had a group of 11 for a fall golf trip. The house was perfect - plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. The owner was very helpful and responsive with the few questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
