About this house rental
Welcome to our cozy ~100 -year-old home! The space you will have to yourself is our basement with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette/laundry, private bathroom and a spacious living room. The unit has its own private entrance secured with a keyless deadbolt. These areas are not shared with us, but we do occupy the main floor of the home. As to be expected with older homes, sounds, creaks, footsteps, voices or laughter may be heard by all. If you are looking for absolute privacy this might not be the best place for you. We are very respectful of our guest's privacy and we will not directly interact with you during your stay.
That being said, we are thrilled to welcome you and your companions to our home! We have included basic amenities for you to feel at home. We are well-located just 10 minutes away from downtown Denver and 1.7 miles away from one of the main highways to drive straight into the mountains for outdoor activities and incredible ski resorts during the winter! Huston Lake Park is only one block away and it has a beautiful scenic view of the mountains for you to enjoy!
PETS: We consider our home "pet friendly", meaning that your 4 legged friends are welcome to stay with us (PLEASE SEE HOUSE RULES). Please note that we do not provide pet care, toys, treats, secured backyard, etc.
As such, we kindly ask our guests to please DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME (It is the guest responsibility to care for their own pets. Please take into consideration that we are providing accessories such as lamps, speakers, etc. for the guest's comfort which may be damaged by pets. If any item is missing or damaged a claimed will be filed through the website).
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEDS, COUCHES OR FURNITURE. Please be respectful of our home and future guests :)
PARTIES POLICY: We welcome the noise of friends and family get togethers while vacationing. Respectfully we ask that you to keep the number of people staying limited to the number indicated on the reservation, and additional visitors to only a few, as we do not allow parties in the property.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE THE HOUSE.
We have SECURITY CAMERAS around the perimeter of the home. However, be sure to not to leave anything of value on sight in your car. And make sure you lock your doors as a precaution.

The host is so friendly and responsive. We were a group of 5 and the place had a lot of space for us. We appreciated it having all necessary amenities and was kept very clean. Location to downtown Denver was very convenient. Would definitely stay again! Thank you.

Perfectly fine place, a decent basement-to-ADU conversion. Kitchenette was very disappointing. My group and I spent a decent chunk of change on breakfast supplies for our multi-day stay, only to discover that all the pans in the kitchen were incompatible with the induction stovetop, and barely heated up/ took us over an hour and a half to make scrambled eggs and bacon. I tried to message the hosts but they didn’t respond until hours after to tell us there is an electric griddle tucked away in one of the cabinets. However, to my understanding, they will be fixing the problem for future guests.
