Nice place but shame the kitchen closed

Some sort of compensation as it was not mentioned during the booking .were told 3 to 4 days before that the main kitchen will be closed for 3 days

Nice stay, especially good for Calais crossing

It was a nice hotel - close to Calais which is why we used it

When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed on that day of the week. They offered a cheeseboard which was sufficient but would have maybe been nice for them to note this a bit easier with the booking

WiFi awful. Need to log in every time you leave room or close tablet or close computer down. No restaurant or hot food available on Monday or Tuesday. We had a lodge and the smell of damp was overpowering. Very small towels in bathroom and as much as we asked same size towels provided every day. Breakfast was ok but not something to get excited about

Beautiful comfortable hotel with excellent staff

The room was nice and the beds were really comfortable, if we had stayed longer I would have used the restaurant it looked pleasant especially as it was a warm evening sitting outside on the decking / balcony area would have been nice, we did have a drink outside thought, although it would have been nice to take a drink by the pool but this was not allowed. we caught a taxi to the town centre but couldnt not get one on the return maybe because it was 11pm so we walked.

Try to stay here every time in Le Touquet

Everything, never fails to impress. Classic style with modern touches.

Could be closer to town but that's part of the charm. It's also then right on the golf course so you can't have everything.

Disappointing end to our trip.

Location was good in a very pretty setting. Swimming pool was very welcome. Reception staff pleasant.

We stayed in one of a series of cabins a short walk from the car park and the main hotel. There was plenty of clothes storage space and the bathroom had a very nice 'wet-room' style shower. The bedroom area, however, was over-furnished for the size of room. There was a large wooden chair placed in front of the door to the private terrace impeding access which I had to ask to be removed. There were only enough tea bags and capsules of UHT milk for one cup of tea for the two of us. I had to ask for more tea bags and fresh milk at reception which was provided. Why do hotels put loads of cushions on beds which have to be removed before getting in to bed? There were a total of eight large cushions on the bed and no place to put them in the already limited space. Breakfast was on the hotel terrace and was OK but no trays were provided so had to make numerous trips to and fro the breakfast bar with each item of food e.g. fruit juice, cereal, toast etc. tea/coffee and milk. I found the hotel rather pretentious and a triumph of design over practicality. It was rather disappointing and the most expensive of all the places we stayed in.

The staff are very helpful, reception staff are great. The location is lovely, the beds are really comfortable and the bike hire is great. The restaurant staff and food are very good.

Missed the notice on the closure of the swimming pool which was disappointing. Check if they have a function on, there was a wedding on which commandeered the outside space, which with the closure of the pool left nowhere to sit relax and enjoy a drink in the fine weather. Bathroom was tired and could do with updating.

Lovely short break

felt more like a 5* hotel with very nice decor and excellent restaurant in a quiet setting rural location. A 5 mins drive, 25 mins walk to the town.

The restaurant was very good our room was small on 2nd floor no lift. Did not get cleaned until 4.30 first day, made a fuss and it was sorted on the two following days.

Pleasant hotel for visits to Le Touquet

Our room was very large and comfortable, we enjoyed the pool, the breakfast range was good (but please see the comments re breakfast) and the reception, dining room and bar staff were pleasant and helpful.

Tea and coffee in the room would have been welcome. The bathroom was rather dated and would benefit from a shower. That level of room (privilege) should have air conditioning. Breakfast was rather chaotic. For the number of diners, there should have been two or three hot beverages stations, not one.
