Butterfly Cottage at Viking Hill - Love Beach

L’endroit est typique des Bahamas . Maison très bien décorée mais sans doute moins de moyen pour l’entretenir . Nous avions eu une chambre plus vétuste la première nuit et après un petit soucis , la dame qui s’occupe de la location nous a immédiatement changé de chambre et là c’était top.

L’entretien des lieux pourrait être mieux , ce lieu est tellement magnifique mais ce n’est pas trop dérangeant en soi.

The location of Butterfly Cottage is stunning. The view magnificent and the nearby Travellers Rest restaurant superb. (Oh Tequila was a rip off and we chose not to return there) Being far out west was peaceful with the #10 bus an easy ride downtown and back again.

The general upkeep and maintenance of the property needs a lot of work. A big clean up would make a huge difference. The statue at the end of the pool had her head on the ground. Old pool floaties were left in the pool, which wasnt cleaned regularly. The outside cushions were sun damaged and torn. The outside table was never cleaned. The BBQ was not functional (an old gas BBQ that was used with fire instead) There was junk around the corner, junk in an unused room, which faced the small flight of stairs to our room.
