Wonderful holiday in Oberstdorf

We had a wonderful holiday in Oberstdorf. The staff was exceptionally friendly, even left a little present for my birthday. We could bring 2 dogs without any problems. The apartment (4) was wonderful with a large balcony. The house is not 5 mins from the entry into the wonderful Oberstdorf meadows, so brilliant for the dogs. Plus, 5 mins or so from the centre of town. Absolutely ideal.

They can't change the weather 😉 Seriously, there wasn't a thing we didn't love

Good apartment in fantastic town-centre location with secure parking. Terrific!

Lovely bedsit right in the centre of Oberstdorf. Good instructions from reception on how to find the car park (free, underground secure parking) and the apartment. Had a small balcony with chairs and a table, which was useful in the good weather. Good kitchen facilities for an apartment this size. A visitor pass was part of the package and this gave us free access to all the cable cars/gondolas as well as the buses - fantastic value.

very great experience

Rooms are very practical, the living room and bedroom and bathroom are individually seperated with doors, suits for family vacation with kids. The key card can be used for all the cable cars in the region,and we can still use it on the last day after we check out. There is kids room and sport room for Table tennis, and table football, kids loved them.

Excellent property and location. I can understand why your website said rarely available.

The property was well maintained. Our apartment was warm and spacious. We really liked the starter pack that we booked that was in our fridge waiting for us. Also we had fresh bread delivered every morning. It was a 5 minute walk to the town and a 10 minute walk to the rail and bus station. Also a short walk to the bus that took you to the main ski lift at Fellhornbahn.

There was nothing to dislike.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay

Good location, easily walkable from the Bahnhof and multiple restaurants. Good starting point for hiking routes and the Nebelhornbahn. Well equipped and the initial refrigerator stocking service, as well as daily bread service in the morning was very helpful, especially with multiple public holidays when the shops are closed. It's very convenient for people who come there by train since they have basic supplies for breakfast and the rest can be purchased from the nearby grocery shops. Drinks are also available for purchase from the property for a very reasonable price.

Friendly and welcoming staff, early morning bread delivery, clean flat. The play rooms for teens and toddlers in the basement are great and well insulated so kids could have fun without having to take care to be quiet.

Spoiled by bed, Building works and owners lack of concern

The location and cable car tickets.

The beds were really uncomfortable and we couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep. Also, there was major building works on the building next door, which included noisy hammering, machines and workers from early on through the full day. We booked 2 weeks before arriving and we were in contact with the owners prior to arriving and they did not warn us at all. When I discussed the matter, the owners told us that they only found out recently and that we should expect noise in a town location and that we couldn’t have cancelled anyway and would still have had to pay! That was totally inconsiderate and I couldn’t believe that they did not have any consideration for us at all! We were unable to sit or relax on the terrace or in the flat and have because of the loud noise.

Die Lage ist gut, die Unterkunft ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber

Das einzige was fehlt hat, war ein Aufzug. Sein Gepäck in den zweiten Stock hoch zu schleppen war schon recht anstrengend, aber das ist halt auch baulich nicht realistisch in dieser Art Gebäude.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und die Küche super ausgestattet zum Lochen. Der Brötchenservice ist auch spitze und es gibt Spiele zum Ausleihen. Easy Check in und sehr nettes Personal!

Eine sehr schöne, ruhig und doch zentral gelegene Ferienwohnung mit toller Ausstattung! Der Service war super, neben einem täglichen Brötchenservice kann man am ersten Tag auch eine Kühlschrankfüllung mit sehr leckeren regionalen Produkten bestellen!

die Lage mit kurzen Fußwegen in das Zentrum und zu der Nebelhornbahn, sowie Spielzimmer für die Kinder und die schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit Liebe zum Detail. Die Betten waren auch außergewöhnlich bequem!

die hohen Kosten haben uns erst etwas abgeschreckt, aber der all-inclusive-Pass für die Bahnen hat es wieder kompensiert.

Können wir weiterempfehlen

Dank Semmeldienst und erster Kühlschrank Befüllung ging der Urlaub stressfrei los. Lage für uns super: in ein paar Minuten ist man im Ortskern, aber doch ruhig und nur eine Straße weiter beginnen die Wiesen - perfekt mit Hund. Sauber, Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir waren zufrieden. Und die Begrüßungs Leckerlis für den Hund sind eine sehr liebe Geste.

Auf der Couch fehlen 2-3 Kissen für die Gemütlichkeit und damit es bequemer wird.

Die Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen.

Die Einrichtung der Unterkunft war geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung war neuwertig und gepflegt. Der Zugang zum Haus und Wohnung erfolgt mittels Zugangskarte. Es gibt ausreichend Stellplätze für Fahrräder etc.

Für vier Personen war die Staufläche in Form von z. B. Ablageflächen bzw. Schränken etwas zu wenig.

Wir hatten das Appartement im Haupthaus, direkt am Eingang links, Parterre. Dies war teilweise relativ laut und ist, bedingt durch einen großen Balkon im Stockwerk darüber etwas dunkel. Außerdem gab es keine Rollos, die man nachts hätte herunterlassen können.
