BE AWARE! when booking this hotel you do NOT book their old rooms, but the new room if you want to have any sort of nice experience. I was really, really disappointed that this is sold as a 5 star hotel for more than 200 euros a night. Really not okay. I booked a garden room in a hotel advertised as a 5-star property; when I arrived I was put in this old, outdated room that was at this air conditioning unit park instead of a garden; I think there were 6-7 airco units producing very loud noise (also at night). Also there was another constant airco noise coming from the wardrobe closet which could not be turned off. I arrived about 9PM so when I went to the service desk that this was not okay and then the lady told me that there was no one to fix another room; after involving Agoda they suddenly had another room. But this was basically the same, very old and outdated room . I could hear every single step my upstairs neighbor was taking. Then there was this karaoke contest in the bar right next to my room until after midnight... So I had to sleep in with ear plugs, again very 5 star worthy... Also the toilet was making constant noises. After the new room no one came anymore to check in if everything was okay; also when you walk in or out no one at the service desk is even saying hello; when I checked-out no one even asked how my stay was....The breakfast staff were friendly though. I really, really do not understand how this hotel can have 5 stars. There is no gym, except for a tennis court, no wellness, at the spa you have to book expensive treatments, and the whole hotel is very, very outdated. From inside and the outside. A 3 star with a normal night rate would have made sense, but I felt really ripped of. But the next day, the feeling of being ripped of got worse; I walked up to the beach beds, which the hotel advertises as their own private beach beds (which was one of the reasons I booked so I don't have to go to a beach club every time). Then the lady wanted to charge me 30 EUROS! for a bed that belongs to the hotel as a hotel guest??? When I asked why this was nowhere told, the lady said 'ohh yeah they changed it a few months ago, I don't understand either'. I walked away and went to a beach club where beds were FOR FREE. You had to climb in a bath tub to shower and mix the heat of the water with this old shower curtain. There was no electricity point in the bathroom. The electricy point next to the bed was so old and outdated, every night my charger fell out. Breakfast was okay, but honestly I felt terrible during this stay and I was happy to check out. Never again for me, at least not at this night rate.
