Fantastic stay!! The hotel is basic but plentiful! The staff are so caring and the breakfast is a na absolute must!! The pool ….. an absolute bonus that we usually had on our own! We will definitely be returning!

Staff where very friendly and made to feel welcome

The bed was not very comfortable. Old bouncy mattress. Pillows where hard. Towels where small. The walk to the pool outside the hotel in not particularly good weather was not great.

Fab weekend away

It was absolutely great, we were able to have a nice stay, and the staff made us feel very welcome

Check in staff great, bed very uncomfortable

Staff was great on check in

Bedding had marks on it, the beds were really uncomfortable, we woke up with bad backs, (we are 30) you could hear the people in their rooms around you and above you. Suppose to stay 2 nights but only stayed the one due to the bed. Bathroom was clean but had empty toilet rolls left on the side. Didn't use the breakfast facilties or pool so can't comment on those.

Booked a budget hotel for family for one noght - the Laguna was ideal

Nice location with excellent staff ,adequate parking and good facilities.

Rooms were well furnished and clean. Bathroom slightly dated and no heating so a little cooler than expected. The hotel was busy and having the rooms close to each other was very welcome. The lady on the reception desk was so nice and helpful.

The heating wasn’t working in the rooms but although it was cooler it was ok for one night stay.

The stay was lovely and the kids enjoyed it but I hated the nights. Too loud from other rooms.

My son loved the breakfast and absolutely loved the pool.

I have to be honest, the only thing I really didn’t like was how thing the walls are. I hardly slept for 3 nights🥺. One particular night on Sat I heard 2 mean talking until pass 5 am. Just talking but I could hear it. That kept me up all night.

Lovely reasonably priced stay great for family

The staff were very friendly, made us feel welcomed and as I was with my young boy it made my stay so much more enjoyable that they made an effort to make us feel comfortable there. Reception lady on check in was very nice, the staff who we saw getting breakfast were nice and even a coach driver who saw my little boys enthusiasm over the coaches offered to let him see inside. The small swimming pool was a nice thing to have with the jacuzzi. It was a nice family friendly place.

For the price, within walking distance of Bournemouth town and beach, it would be hard to criticise as long as you have reasonable expectations. It was fair, to be totally objective and point out some things: Hotel is a bit dated and depending which room you get you might be near to the fly over. Breakfast was totally acceptable for the price and wasn't inadequate but you won't be surprised or bowled over by it. Shower head in room 26 is worn out, doesn't stream water, was more like a dribble out of a tap than a shower head but I got by.

The location, lovely staff, very good breakfast and free parking.

The bed unfortunately was so hard also the pillows so hard, making it very uncomfortable to get to sleep. Bathroom was very small and would say the hotel needs updating.

Friendly staff but blocked bath and window would not close.

The staff were smiling and relatively friendly. The hotel is okay though decor could be improved on.

We checked in after 6pm it took a while of ringing the bell before they opened. Unfortunately the window in the room would not lock and air was coming in. We were a bit cold It's mid October!. Worse still, the bathroom would not drain.My son with special needs had to get up and get out quicker. I stood in dirty water showering. My other sons skipped showering Please please fix it. IAM not sure we were given the best room or, if it was changed the last minute. There was also hair on the floor. I dont like giving poor reviews rather privately parhaps but sadly this was not nice. We also as par booking appeared to have qualified for an included breakfast as genius but, we're told to pay when we went to the restaurant.

Acceptable but has been better in the past

A problem with the lights due to a fuse going and sorted promptly

Problems on the Thursday and Friday with the room being serviced especially regading emptying bins and replacing milk, sugat etc. It improved on the Saturday and was satisfactory for the rest of my stay

The staff were lovely and amazing and happy and brilliant but the property was shockingly BAD.

It was sad, unloved, dated and in need of a total refurbishment . The electrics need re-wiring , the main light flickered every 5 minutes…. It’s no wonder they have a fire safety/evacuation sign on the door of the rooms. The bedside lamp swayed from side to side of its own accord with a dented lamp shade.. I think this is probably:maybe a successful business in other areas…. Like all the double decker buses and coaches in the car park. My advice is to operate one of two businesses well and not offer rank hotel rooms with fabulous employees

The whole place is old fashioned and run down…drab curtains, bare light bulbs, awful bedside lights; the bath wobbled when I stepped into it - I nearly fell over. The walls are so thin I could hear conversations of people in the corridor

Bed was very uncomfortable although we stayed in a different room last year witch was alot more comfortable tv in bedroom 44 is to far over to see from the double bed could do with a bigger tv was practically unwatchable room was a decent size with all that we will be staying again in the future

The breakfast was fantastic,well cooked and freshly made, still hot when it arrived at the table.

The shower was lacking in power, tv was on the small side but, the room was nice and clean and fresh.

Overall disappointed

The location was good

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, however this time I’m very disappointed. The room wasn’t great, TV was not working at all, shower in the bathroom, with a big label yo put the shower curtain inside the bath, however there was no shower curtain nor shower screen so we couldn’t have a quick shower properly. No tea spoons available for the morning coffee, nor any facilities to go and have breakfast or at least coffee. Photos do not match what we got, property very outdated and smelled funny. Family stay of 3 with only 1 set of keys was also a struggle. The fire alarm did not look compliant either.
