Professionally decorated, new furniture, new floors, smart TVs, updated bathrooms, king size bed in primary suite, guest room has a bunk bed with two double and twin trundle underneath. Living room has a fold out couch for occupancy of nine people. Very nice ocean view from balcony and primary suite, covered balcony with new raised adirondack chairs to enjoy the view. The condo itself was great. The magnifying mirror in the master bathroom was a nice surprise! The grandkids loved the bunk beds. There was a wagon full of beach gear and beach chairs outside the door. We did not get to use them or go to the beach due to weather. The internet was not working when we arrived on a very rainy weekend, but the problem was resolved before it became inconvenient for us. Very easy walk to all restaurants, shops and the park at Coligny. Plenty of room when you are not planning on being inside much. Difficult being on the top floor with little kids (and other tenants underneath) if you are forced indoors due to weather. Ceiling fans and split units in both bedrooms and in the living room, made it easy to keep everyone comfortable day and night. Lots of codes to remember for gate, beach gate and door (all different) and then bike locks if you rent bikes. Also tricky to turn around in the parking lot. We drove a large SUV and parked up close to the building, then had to back out a distance to have room to turn around and be able to get out the gate. Having learned all these things I would stay there again for the location and ease to the beach.

Amazing location, very clean, well stocked kitchen. Overall very nice space!I didn't love that I had to make a stop to check-in. Everything was done by code that could have been sent via email or text. No need to add an extra step after we had a 15 hour drive to get there. We weren't able to get the AC work while we were there. Wasn't needed too much as it wasn't that hot, but we followed the directions and they kicked in the first day but not after that. We also couldn't get the internet to stay on during our stay.

We love this area of Hilton Head and have been vacationing here for 19 years. We have stayed in this unit in the past - great recent remodel with updated decor. Lots of sleeping options for nine. And lots of extra towels and linens, but the unit could have been a bit cleaner (specifically surfaces and floors). We like the small building with just a few units/guests.We love that it's directly on the beach (with a bit of an ocean view from the side balcony) and close to Coligny Plaza (restaurants & shopping). The bike rental credit and delivery upon arrival was also a plus because we always rent bikes.Our biggest disappointment was that the internet kept going out. Obviously, not the owner/property manager's fault (they were quick to respond to our calls and sent someone out), but it was out on a rainy Saturday when going to the beach and riding bikes was not an option and football games were on. The internet provider wasn't able to fix it that day. Definitely recommend Beachwood Place!
