Highly recommended accommodation in Chalon sur Saone

Four of us stayed at this accommodation during June while on a bicycle tour through France. We were met at the door and the host showed us all the facilities of the property. It has an excellent location in the centre of town. It is very well equipped and there is a lovely garden and storage for bicycles. We loved staying here and rate it among the top five of the 30 -odd properties we stayed at in France.

Exceptional

The most peaceful garden to ourselves. Great hosts who live in street. Washing machine. Restaurants, banks, supermarket all close. Walk to boat marina. Beautiful apartment, ground floor. Our stay in Chalon-sur-Saone after travelling 5 weeks was delightful, friendly locals, safe haven after big cities. We left by private canal boat, just walked to river and hopped on family boat. Two queen sized beds perfect for two couples. It was a nun s home and home for country girls. Think built in 1798. High ceilings. Quirky, arty pieces decorate house and garden. Thank you Sophie and Pascal.

Sunny apartment with secluded private garden in central Chalon

The apartment is in a quiet street in the central pedestrian area of Chalon. It has a large private garden. We were given exclusive use of the garden, which had a sunny terrace. Our friendly host Pascal told us that the place had once been part of a convent, which explained the high garden walls and the Lourdes grotto (devotional space) in the garden. The apartment was quiet, spacious and sunny. The kitchen was well equipped. We liked the cosy sitting area with quality chairs. We would have liked to stay longer.

We were not able to get the TV working. We didn’t raise this with the host as it didn’t matter to us.

Large nice apartment very close to center.

Large and very comfortable apartment. Nicely decorated. Good bathroom with shower, tub and separate toilet room. Nice garden. Ground floor. Quiet and very close walk to center. Easy walk to train station in less than fifteen minutes. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed.

We passed a wunderful stay at the apartment, which is very well located and super nice equipet. The hosts grant us a very early check in because we arrived in the morning. We felt very wellcome with our two little children. Gladly again! Thank you!

Ein schöner, besonderer Zwischenstopp, der unseren Urlaub verlängert hat.

Die Lage war toll, direkt in der Stadt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Etwas ganz Besonderes ist der wunderbare, versteckte Garten. Wir werden wiederkommen!

SEJOUR FANTASTQUE ET RESSOURCANT

Superbe appartement en cœur de ville avec un jardin privatif très appréciable. Les lits sont très confortables, l'appartement était très propre et il n'y avait pas de bruit. Je recommande à 100% cet appartement et nous avons même eu des échanges très cordiaux avec le propriétaire.

Le Clos 25 maakt je verblijf aan suf Chalon meer dan goed

Chalon is niet de meest leuke stad die wij aandoen op onze fietstocht maar het appartement maakt alles goed. Zeer sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. En de tuin….. hoe mooi ruim en cozy is die. Een echte aanrader.

Le Clos, prima locatie.

Prima plaats om te overnachten. Wij waren op doorreis naar onze vakantie in het zuiden en hebben hier prima kunnen uitrusten. Aardige eigenaars met een mooie gite en tuin.

Séjour vraiment agréable et reposant. Un havre de paix en plein centre ville

Appartement fabuleux, dégageant une atmosphère de sérénité, décoré avec beaucoup de goûts, très bien équipé, literie de qualité, jardin fantastique, très bien situé, propriétaire disponible qui a pris le temps de rédiger des informations fortes utiles sur les commodités aux alentours et des idées d'excursions . On s'y sent tellement bien que l'on quitte le lieu avec regret avec l'envie d'y revenir pour un plus long séjour.

Coup de cœur

Tout était parfait. L’emplacement au centre ville proche des commerces à pied tout en étant dans une une petite rue très calme. Nous avons apprécié l’accueil de Sophie et les explications qu’elle nous a fournies. Nous avons pu mettre nos 4 vélos à l’abri. Beau jardin très agréable, la maison spacieuse et propre avec tout ce qu’il faut pour faire la cuisine.

L'accès au jardin, la déco très agréable, l'espace (grande chambre, grand salon), toilettes séparées de la salle de bain, la situation géographique. Le calme dans la chambre côté jardin. Très bonne literie. On se sent comme chez soi.

Le bruit de la VMC, la protection plastifiée des matelas et oreillers (nous comprenons en soi mais ce n'est pas très agréable) et le bruit le matin dans la chambre côté rue..

Alles wunderbar!

Sehr gute Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr netter Vermieter mit guten Tipps bezüglich Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten. Gemütliche Wohnung, bequeme Betten, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, großer Garten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Zu beachten: Es gibt nur öffentliche Parkplätze am Haus, somit keine Platzgarantie. Wir haben ca 500m weiter kostenlos geparkt, war kein Problem.

Es ist eine sehr schöne und heimelige Wohnung. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Der Garten ist sehr schön und erholsam.

Die Küche ist für unseren Geschmack nicht sauber genug. Was schade ist.
