A beautiful hotel in a good position for exploring the city & getting to the beach. Room stunning & huge. Helpful staff. Pleasant breakfast. This is our second stay here. Very comfortable bed. Liked having a bath ( with shower over) & a sitting area. Fridge & mini bar. Walked from the station & reception ordered cab for us to bus station.

Interesting historical building and architecture/decorations.
Very big room, spacious, big bathroom with all the amenities available.
The room is very dark, there is no possibility to open the window.
Very uncomfortable bed.

We made a last-minute booking for this hotel and got a good price so we accepted its eccentricities. The style of the hotel, the rooms, the furniture and the public spaces are old and a bit faded. It was very calm in the hotel and we slept very well. The public car park in the centre of town literally goes right up to the front door of the hotel so there is no passing traffic and we paid 25 BGN to park overnight and the next morning.
I think the hotel wants to achieve period charm but it didn't quite work for us.
