The location and the hotel’s own beach club is amazing, we loved it! Also our room was very spacious and big.

The rooftop restaurant of the hotel played a huge role in chosing it, but when we arrived (not before that) they let us know it’s completely closed for the whole summer. Because of this, there were huge crowds at the downstairs restaurant every morning. The breakfast selection was rather limited. Compered to the price of our stay, I am quite disappointed.

The breakfast was very poor. No cheese diversities. At 09:00 don’t have egg boiled and they say is finished for today.

This hotel is very nice and good and good service and good food.

Beautiful

The room was one of the strongest aspects of our stay. It was very spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Housekeeping was excellent, with the room carefully cleaned every day and fresh towels regularly provided. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection and overall good quality.

Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was not relaxing at all. The area was extremely crowded, with people everywhere, queues and frequent waiting times. It often felt hectic and congested, so it was difficult to simply sit down and enjoy breakfast comfortably. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool situation. The hotel is advertised as having two swimming pools, which can easily give the impression that there is an outdoor pool on the hotel premises. In reality, the hotel itself has an indoor pool, while the outdoor option is complimentary access to Aqualuna Lido across the road. Aqualuna is a separate beach club rather than an exclusive hotel pool, and during our stay it was extremely crowded. It was therefore very difficult to relax or properly enjoy the pool. For a summer stay in Malta, this was a significant drawback. The hotel was also quite expensive for Malta and, considering the facilities actually available, we did not feel that it offered particularly good value for money. Overall, the room and cleanliness were excellent, but the overcrowding, outdoor pool arrangement and relatively high price prevented the stay from feeling as good as it could have been.
