Ajax Hotel

The hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach and there is a grocery store not far from it. The staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good for us and there were plenty types of food.

The shower is with open glass so there is always a lot of water on the floor.. it could be good if the staff will put a mop in each room.

Good value for money

My experience at the Ajax Hotel has been truly excellent. The hotel combines professionalism with genuine hospitality. The staff are always welcoming, attentive, and ready to assist with anything guests may need. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the atmosphere of the hotel makes both business and leisure guests feel at home. What stands out the most is the consistency in service and the friendly environment created by the team. It’s definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Limassol who is looking for quality, comfort, and great service!

Shower was good - decent water pressure and hot water. The gym is small but has everything you'd need and the superior room was a decent size.

I wouldn't say for what's on offer, it's great value for money - and I'm not sure it entirely feels like a 4* experience. I chose it for a 1 night stay in the city, because it had a gym and sauna/steam room. BUT - didn't realise until after I booked that those facilities are at an extra cost (not the gym, that's included). It's 20 euro for the sauna, and the steam room. Which I suppose would be alright if it covered the entire stay, but no - it's for 1 use only. So if you're staying for multiple days, you need to pay 20 euro each time. I thought this was a bit mad when other 4* hotels include this in the overall price and offer a robe etc. This is certainly one of those hotels that charge for all the extra details. Room service options were pretty limited - and food was average. Plus had to wait for an hour for my food as they forgot my order. I had the cheeseburger, which was pretty dry. The bed hard - which some people might like, so that's subjective I suppose. Air con was a bit... lacklustre, which meant it was warm in the night. Even in October. Noticed the pool area outside shut early for a wedding/event which meant people had to move inside. Hotel is pretty tired overall, could do with a facelift. Breakfast was pretty poor also - small area and gets very busy. Options were limited. I've travelled a lot, and can't say there was much about this hotel which excited me. Won't be returning sadly. There are better options in this city - for a similar price point, or less, which offer much more (better food, modern rooms, inclusive of spa access and friendlier staff). If you need a place to crash which 'does the job' this is alright. For a holiday? No.
