Hotel Tugasa Castillo de Castellar

If you are looking for peace and quiet in a very typical Spanish village this is the perfect getaway,the views and it's location is spectacular,I dont understand why it's so cheap,rooms are large and modern,bed was huge and very comfortable. My only complaint would be the general attitude of one of the staff at reception,but the rest of them were very nice. We will definatly be returning

This hotel is very interesting walk around and look at. But it’s out in the middle of nowhere and because of it’s location there is nothing to do at night. The one front desk lady I found kind of rude but the rest of the staff were very nice. Our room was right next to the elevator shaft so e could hear the elevator a lot. Also the doors don’t have any soft close on then so yo can hear doors slamming the whole time which really echoes in a lace like this. It also sounded like a dance studio over our head. I know it wasn’t but my goodness constant stomping. There is obviously no sound proofing here. Our room was also full of flies which drove us nuts. Then my wife noticed a big spider in the bathroom. On the plus side breakfast was good. I would never stay here again, probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at for a nights rest. Ok to go and look at for a day but definitely not to stay overnight.
