Relaxing and peaceful.

The view from this particular room was OK but the views from other places in the property were lovely. The location is convenient to beaches on the lake. An additional convenience would be a shuttle service to and from the center of town.

I was traveling without a car so getting from the town back to the hotel required a taxi. That's not a problem but getting a taxi was not always easy.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The grounds to the hotel were immaculate and well kept. Due to the hotel being on a hill we had uninterrupted views over the lake from our balcony and windows. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of hot and cold food. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, always polite and helpful. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. We would be happy to return.

The grounds and views are spectacular! Nice and quiet being away from the road. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the design of the room and the attention to details.

All the staff were particularly attentive; proactive and friendly Antonio whom ran the infinity pool bar area was exceptional and could do with some help. The four course dinner was highly enjoyable.

Where classic meets modern it’s not just a holiday destination it also feels a cultural experience

Stunning location set in the most beautiful gardens. You would never tire looking at the views or strolling in the garden & the infinity pool is breathtaking. You just don’t want to leave this place. Great breakfast choices to start each day & all the waiting staff were extremely friendly & helpful. I would also like to express my gratitude to Ray at the front desk. We had issues with our car hire & Ray went above and beyond in helping us sort it out so a big thank you to him.

Stunning views and beautiful hotel

The view - could never get tired of looking out over the lake and mountains - simply stunning. The hotel is also beautiful and the grounds so well kept and pleasurable to spend time in. The pool was cold but nice to get into after a hot day. The staff would extremely friendly and helpful - all in all an amazing stay!

The location is unbeatable and the staff and cleanliness were next level amazing.

The only thing I can think of is the lunch offerings at the pool was a bit lacking in options.

Great situation and a great experience. Restaurant booking system needs clarity

Situation overlooking Lake Garda. Front of house staff were excellent. They all worked hard and were friendly. Room had great views and cleaned daily. Breakfast.

20-25 minutes out of Malcesine. Part of walk along busy Road. Rest along lake. Challenging in extreme temperatures and humidity. Taxis are available but difficult to book on return journey. Booking arrangements for dinner confused and needs addressing. 6 of us in 3 rooms, one of us had been there 3 times before and spoke fluent Italian. We booked dinner for first night on arrival. When we came to book a further night’s dinner we were told the restaurant , which was not open to non-residents, was fully booked for the remainder of the week. Following discussions we booked a further two nights via reception. Due to poor communication between hotel staff, we were expected every night of our remaining stay and after a ‘no show’ on a night we did not book, the senior manager ( owner?) was very unpleasant to one of our group. This left a sour note. Another member of staff apologised later. One would expect a hotel to be able to accommodate a group of six people staying a week in its restaurant. If not they should make the booking arrangements very clear. We were under the impression that you could book dinner on the day if you booked before 4pm. No adequate air conditioning in restaurant.

Great location to see the mountainous sights of lake Garda and do some exploring.

Perfect location with incredible peaceful views. A short walk into the town centre is beautiful once you get to the promenade. Adults only makes it a very chilled atmosphere around the hotel and pool. The staff were super friendly and helpful when they arranged an extra night at the same cost because we didn’t want to leave! 10/10

Absolutely fantastic hotel from start to finish - staff were amazing (professional, well prepared, kind and friendly). The hotel: the VIEWS are outstanding, it is super clean, excellent breakfast, and the rooms are lovely. The rooms vary widely but are lovely in their different ways - some are very newly furnished and others are in the older part in the house. If in doubt, ring reception and discuss and they will help. Lovely lovely stay. We will be back (and we don’t usually go back places)

Very nice option in Malcesine

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location. Overall, it is very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Breakfast was very nice too.

The bedroom was a little basic for a 4 star. The bed was comfortable, but the room just needed a little updating. There was not a lot of luxury, although it was perfectly adequate for a few days, just not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Wonderful location, breath-taking views of Lake Garda

Wonderful location with breath-taking views of the lake and mountains. Easy walk into town of Malcesine on the beautiful lake-side walking path, which we really enoyed. Excellent breakfast and friendly service. Quiet and calm. Free parking was a nice bonus. Truly one of the most beautiful hotel locations we have ever visited and we will definitely come back!

Slightly outdated interior. The A/C was not working yet, and although the temperature was fine, the room was very humid - luckily easy to air it out by opening windows. The radiator in the bathroom was not on either, so not easy to get swimsuits etc. dry. Also a bit more attention to detail would make the experience a ten: no floor-lenght mirror in the room, one of the bedside lamps did not work, no iron/ironing board in the room (and a bit of a hassle that you need a key for the ironing room, which is actually just a bathroom where it was difficult to iron due to lack of space and poor equipment).

Fine. No other way to describe it.

Room very basic, no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but then you are charged a fortune for tea and coffee during the day. Two single beds pushed together with a sheet and an old itchy blanket on top. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Shower completely open and by the doorway, bathroom not sound proofed which is unacceptable. We were in a ground floor room which felt very overlooked. Pool is small and absolutely freezing, unable to spend more that 5 minutes in there at a time. The restaurant for breakfast was fine, however in the evening the food was bland/boring. The restaurant had no atmosphere, it was dark, silent and unwelcoming. Best part of our stay was the view and leaving for dinner in the evening.

I would love to come back.

We arrived late, during very heavy storms after a day of driving and were welcomed with tremendous kindness and assistance. During our stay all the staff were excellent and the gardens are stunning. Beautiful location and an easy walk to nearby town.

Perhaps not great timing to mow the lawns with a noisy petrol mower when a pianist is playing.

Stunning location, friendly staff and great amenities. The weather was rainy and not great when we went but that didn’t impact our stay because there was still so much to do at the hotel and it was so cosy.

A magical place

Our room faced the lake and the town; at night the fort was lit up & you could hear the lapping of the small waves on the shore. And a sunrise over Monte Baldo - all rather magical. Restaurant had a view of the lake; dinner & breakfast were quite good, well served. Walking into town was easy, with only a few hundred yards on the road to where a path -stairway takes you to the lakeshore & town.

Needed more time! we didn't have the time to use the pool that faces the lake!
