I had four small children looking forward to the indoor pool but it was closed due to construction the entire week of our stay. We were not notified before booking was made nor did the site we booked from inform us of construction at this property like other nearby properties had posted before booking. Being that the first three days of our stay had lows in the upper 40s, the indoor pool was our alternative on our itinerary to replace the beach on cold days but that was not the case. We traveled 7 hours for spring break vacation just to pull up to a construction site that caught guests by surprise and left us feeling out of place because it was like a maze to maneuver the entire building. Let’s not mention the dark tunnel with no signs posted leading to the small hot tub every guest in the building had to take turns using because the outdoor pool was also closed on the warmer days. The man made tunnel by the construction crew looked very unsafe and I feared something would fall on my children’s head while heading out to the pool. We heard several times by construction workers “hey you can’t go that way” or “this area is closed” because no signs were posted and the property should be closed until construction is complete. I feel like you are ripping your customers off false advertising what the property has to offer. You pay to have those amenities and then you arrive and nothing is as described and no apologies or warm welcomes during your stay is very devastating and not how anyone should conduct business because your property is not cheap and this day and time, customers want exactly what they pay for, nothing less.
