Seehotel ZUR MÜNZ

We stayed here as a family of four (two adults and two children) in a two-bedroom apartment with a separate living room. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected, making it very comfortable for a family with young children. The location is excellent, right on the lakeshore, with beautiful views and easy access to the waterfront.

The apartment itself was clean, bright, and spacious. However, the bathroom could use more attention. There was mold between some of the tiles, and the shower curtain was noticeably dirty, which was disappointing considering the otherwise good standard of cleanliness. There are a few practical things future guests should know. The building does not have an elevator, so carrying heavy luggage upstairs can be challenging. At check-in, we were also asked to pay a local tourist tax of €18 for our family of four, including the children. This information was not clearly stated in our Booking.com reservation, so it came as an unexpected extra expense. The receptionist did not speak English, but she was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and did her best to assist us despite the language barrier. The property has a garage but we had to use public street parking some distance from the accommodation, which cost us around €20 per day and significantly increased the overall cost of our stay.
