About this house rental
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Original hardwood floors. Guests will love staying in "Thunderbolt" which is a historic fishing village nestled in Savannah. Tybee Island beach is 12 miles away. Savannah's Historic District is less than 5 miles away.
Guests can stroll from this home on Rowland Ave to the Thunderbolt Town Hall to use the community dock and walk or jog along the River Drive sidewalk overlooking the stunning inter-coastal waterway. The cottage is walking distance to Tubby's, Thunderbolt Marine, Tortuga's, Chiriya's and Coach's Corner. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the night life area in downtown Savannah (less than 5 miles away). Whole Foods and Target are just a couple of miles down the street for easy procurement of whatever your group needs on your trip.
The pool is not heated but it is maintained weekly, year round.

This was our second stay at the property and it was just as great as our first! Husband and I had an amazing stay. House was clean and we had everything we needed for our getaway. Having a private pool in the middle of savannah during the hot summer months is SO NICE!!! And the drive to the beach or into the city makes this a perfect vacation spot.We cant wait for a third trip to Savannah. We will def come back to this property, it's something special.

This property is charming. It’s historical. The pool is amazing - perfect for children in that is has a shallow area and then steps down into the main pool. We loved it and would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Well located house with a short drive to main attractions. The decorations are super cute and the backyard is wonderful. Communication with the host was very prompt and easy. Unfortunately, we found the house not very clean. Throw blankets, coverlets, decorative pillow covers etc. need a good wash. The house could use a good vacuum. There were dead bugs in the house which we had to remove. Lastly, the kitchen lacks dishes, glassware and silverware to accommodate 7. For example, we only found three wine glasses. There is no mixer, no grader etc. Overall, it's a great place to stay and explore Savannah but the house could use some love.
