Kayakers’ Cabin- “Maine Cabin Masters” remodel.

Lovely cabin. Beautiful waterfront, nice fire pit. Nice bunk beds and a small but adequate master with a queen. We didn’t use the loft - it was too hot. The host was really responsive. There were beautiful bath towels, but limited kitchen supplies (like no leftover oils, spices, condiments, etc). If you are a basic cook, this is the kitchen for you. If you plan to cook here, bring your own grill tools. The kayaks were fun, and the floating trampoline dock was gorgeous, looked brand new and was great fun!It’s a very peaceful place- we would come again!!

Peaceful and absolutely perfect!

Waking up every morning to see this beautiful lake right outside the window was just wonderful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy. It had everything we needed. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cottage! It was just what we look for...a cottage vs a house, yet it had everything we needed! Loved the layout/remodel. Such pretty views of the lake. We enjoyed the property as well despite the voracious mosquitoes. Lovely porch style swing, a hammock and a great firepit lakeside. We read, had blueberry pancakes every morn (July in Maine...get the blueberries!), used our paddleboards and spent a lot of time in our old Boston Whaler fishing, swimming, tubing and just exploring the lake. We used to live in the area and loved the cottage's proximity to the town of Damariscotta. The lake is so large most rentals are a good 20+ minutes from town. If available, we would definitely stay again! :) ps...the owner left a kind of 'camp log' which begins with her take on popular eateries, places of interest, etc. It was well done and thorough! We found a new favorite sandwich shop because of it! Find it in the main bedroom on the bookshelf ;)
