Imagine chilling in this spacious Hollywood Hills home w jet liner views of downtown LA, the Hollywood Sign, Laurel Canyon & Pacific Ocean. Welcome to the Beech Knoll Lodge! This home was featured on Emmy award-winning show "STAYCATION" in 2019 and major upgrades took place since we aired. Vaulted ceilings & cabin feels w an outdoor firepit provide plenty of cozy seating to soak in these epic views. Modern Viking kitchen, spacious floor plan is perfect for families or travelers looking for that Hollywood Hills experience. Make sure you explore on an urban hike around the neighborhood - you may never know what celebrity neighbor will be walking their dog.



Owner lives in a separate apt/studio below the house with his friendly chocolate lab, Cooper. The entire 3 bedroom 3 bath home is privately yours during the length of your stay. The lower deck is shared but divided for your own space.



This 2,000 square feet peaceful home is tucked away in renowned Laurel Canyon where musicians Joni Mitchell, The Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the Eagles and many more who cultivated the sound of the 60's, lived and played all resided here. Please note that roads in this area are well-known to be very narrow and windy. ** This property is located at the very top of the Hollywood Hills to capture these jet-liner views. **

HOUSE RULES:



It is our mission to ensure that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us! This is a permitted vacation rental with the City of LA Home Sharing Dept. We also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them as well as all your guests prior to confirming your reservation.



This is a short-term rental property only. No Tenants rights apply. You must check-out on the date your contract finishes.



* Minimum age to book is 25 years old. Valid photo ID will be required, as well as names and ages of all your Guests.



* Check-in is after 4 pm | Check out is at 11 am.



MAX NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS 8 - includes infants. Extra Guest Fee applies

The Property is to be occupied by no more than the maximum sleep number stated on reservation unless approved in writing by Management. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit and falsifies occupancy information at the time of reservation, Guest shall be subject to eviction. "Occupants" includes small children, infants and any and all visitors. If more than the maximum number is found to be occupying the Property at any time, you agree that a charge of $100 per person/per day will be made to your credit card. Additionally, this Agreement may be immediately terminated without a refund of any amounts paid. No Exceptions.



NO PARTIES OR EVENTS - due to the City of LA's strict ban of parties of large groups we need exact headcounts of your guests at all times.



A party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by iTrip in writing prior to the arrival date.



NEIGHBOR COMPLAINTS

Actions by guests that result in neighbor complaints or police being called to the Property will result in a minimum $250 charge, which charge will be used to deal with legal issues and fines.



CITY OF LA NOISE ORDINANCE - QUIET HOURS: 10 pm – 8 am. No Outdoor Music or Loud Voices during this time.



NO SMOKING Smoking is allowed outside only. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $500 fine and the cost to eliminate residual odors.



* You will provide the Full Names and Ages of all your guests



* In the event of an emergency to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, we reserve the right to enter the property.

    Coming up the stairs, seeing the view, stops you in your tracks. It is breathtaking. The rooms were all comfortable and well appointed. The beds were great, the bathrooms convenient, there was lots of space. The parking space was tight, we had a Suburban to accommodate our group, but appreciated that there was a space for parking as the roads are extremely narrow. We loved our stay!

    Beautiful view - loved the view out every window. We didn’t find any BBQ cleaning tools, nor tongs, etc to flip stuff on BBQ. I think the kitchen could be stocked with more tools, platters, knives. The master bed is very creaky - could be replaced. The remote controls for the upstairs fan/lighting/AC were not where they were indicated to be - we found them downstairs. The upper floor electronic display had an alarm on it that went off at various times - we think it was a humidity alarm, no idea… glad it didn’t go off at 1am. We always love the Laurel Canyon location - lots to do, lots of hikes, close to a lot.

    Our stay at Beech Knoll Lodge was everything we hoped for and more. It was the perfect respite from the nonstop pace of Los Angeles—just minutes from everything, yet it felt like a serene hideaway. We spent our days exploring and our evenings simply soaking in the incredible jetliner views. The ever-changing skyline made it feel like we were living inside a painting. I’ve always wanted to experience life in the Hollywood Hills, and it was amazing to feel like a local for the week. The peaceful atmosphere, paired with the stunning surroundings, created the perfect environment to relax and reflect. I even found the time to start writing my book—something I’ve talked about for years but finally found the inspiration to begin. The home itself is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and recently renovated with a modern touch while preserving that warm, cabin-like charm. We especially loved the vaulted ceilings, spacious layout, and it has a firepit for cozy evenings under the stars. Lilly and Danny were fantastic—responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from check-in to check-out. You can feel their passion for taking care of their homes and their guests. Whether you’re visiting for a family getaway or just looking to unwind in style, this place truly captures the magic of the Hollywood Hills. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
