Good for family and kids. Kids felt at home. The staff were supportive and welcoming. No major concerns.

Some of the facilities mentioned while booking like pool table were not usable. I would suggest not to include facilities that are not usable to avoid disappointments.

The biggest plus of Chitrita Bhavan is its size and central location. The property is huge and comfortably accommodates a large group of around 10–12 people, with convenient access to most places.

The property feels quite run down and needs significant maintenance and upgrading. Cleanliness could be better, particularly the ground floor ensuite bathroom, which had a persistent unpleasant smell despite cleaning. The furniture and amenities are also dated and could do with a refresh. Breakfast was repetitive, with essentially the same options every day and very little choice. Another point for larger groups to keep in mind is parking and access. There is no proper parking space for a 14-seater traveller, and the approach lanes are quite narrow, which can make access challenging for larger vehicles. Overall, the property scores well for space and location, but better maintenance, cleanliness, upgraded amenities and more breakfast variety would significantly improve the experience.
